Salesforce Opens a New Window. has updated its acceptable-use policy, telling its customers to either stop selling certain firearms or forget about using its software, a report stated.

The company, which describes Opens a New Window. itself as an “online solution for customer relationship management,” updated its policy in April, The Washington Post Opens a New Window. first reported.

The tech giant’s policy states that it was barring customers that sell select firearms, including certain semi-automatic firearms, 3D printed guns, ghost guns, and firearms without serial numbers. The policy also forbids customers from selling certain firearm accessories, including “multi-burst trigger devices.”

““Does this become a hot-button issue in states where people like their assault rifles?” Roderick said.
The policy could prove difficult for retailer Camping World, which spends more than $1 million on Salesforce’s software. It would cost the company double to switch over to a different provider.”

Camping World and Dick’s sporting goods are both anti-gun liberal pukes!

My oldest is a family treasure. A 1909 vintage 20 gauge shotgun. It has a Damascus barrel, so I don't shoot modern loads through it.

That’s pretty incredible.

I would assume people that really love firearms would do what was needed to maintain them in an appropriate manner.

But seriously, how do they know?

Have an intern go through the web sites of each customer and note which ones sell guns.

“How do they know whether the goods they don’t like are sold? Do they spy on their customers?”

I’m sure Google or Amazon does it for them.

More evidence the tyranny of Big Tech needs to be challenged by the DOJ.

Doing business with a company that insists that you conform to their political philosophy is a nonstarter. Now that Salesforce have revealed their intentions, every business that use their software needs to develop an exit strategy now. They won’t stop with AR-15’s, they will soon go after pro life companies, Christian companies, etc. etc.

This is also an indicator of the dangers of relying to the Cloud for critical business functions. When someone else owns a big piece of your operation, you are accepting big risks.

Eat it Salesfarce. Tell it to Ruger or Smith and Wesson and see where they tell you to place it. Somewhere Patel, Ahmad and Amit are already perfecting your replacement.

I have a Winchester 1897 shotgun that is still as functional as the day it was made.

Just for grins I used it deer hunting a couple years ago and even killed a buck with it!

The Winchester 1897 was used extensively in WW1 !

Guns / weapons / firearms are inanimate objects typically made of steel and wood and plastic. They don’t have a shelf life like bread and go bad after sitting on a nightstand like a ham sandwich.

Its all in the maintenance and storage when owning firearms.
I have a Sig P226 that is almost 35 years old and is still rocking it out to 25 yards with tight groups.
I also have an FN49; Egyptian. Took a little work; it will head shot ya at 400 yards with iron sites with no problems.
My Henry 30-30 was given to me by my father in law who was dropping coyotes on his Pap’s farm when he was a youngin at 350+ yards. It’s become my favorite. My Father in Law is 72 to give you an indication of the rifles age.
Take care of anything and it will take care of you.

Cars do.

Leave one in the elements infrequently using it or taking care of it for 10 years and see what you get.

Kind of an silly response out of so many good ones :)

I KNOW they are not like food.

But if it boosts your ego for the day, I’m good with it :)
