That’s pretty incredible.
I would assume people that really love firearms would do what was needed to maintain them in an appropriate manner.
Like the man said, keep it clean and correctly lubed and DON’T store it in a case.
Before that just the same stuff Captain Obvious would tell you - don’t abuse it or shoot the wrong ammo thru it. Don’t loan it out...
Otherwise just let it be part of your enjoyment of life.
