Secretary of State Mike Pompeo agreed with a suggestion posed in an interview that it's possible God raised Donald Trump to be President in order to protect Israel from Iran.

Two very popular Orthodox Jewish teachers, Sefardic Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi, and yeshiva Rabbi Mendel Kessin, teach this exactly, and identify Pres. Trump’s manic opposition as satanic.
And guys like Schumer just hate DJT because the President has Jewish grandchildren and Chuckie doesn’t.

What the Lord puts into motion today may have been put into motion a thousand years ago and it might affect something that’s going to happen a thousand years from now. We just don’t know and it’s not our place nor our destiny to know.

Israel survives under the umbrella of the US protection.
As history has shown Israel can fight and win against great odds (even when not prepared). But these “wars” must be short. Israel’s resources and material are limited. Without the US willingness and ability to resupply Israel it would have ceased to exist long ago.
How about both? Saving two birds with one Trump, maybe.

Since a ground war on Israel soil by Iran is improbable, it will be about the number of missiles fired minus the number of missiles intercepted. Hopefully Israel’s missile defense systems are enough to stop most of the barrage. Probably need another 50 or so sites to catch most of it.
I am earnestly waiting for the counterstrike from Israel. That will be something to watch.

That was the point of the hypothetical question, I think. CNN is trying to paint the Administration as religious kooks or panderers to religious kooks.
