The New York Senate passed a radical pro-abortion bill Tuesday that would allow unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth.
Metro reports the bill passed after abortion activists pushed it for more than a decade in New York. Until now, it failed to pass the state Senate because of Republican lawmakers, but the November election put pro-abortion Democrats in control of both houses.
The vote was 38-24.
A New York Public Radio reporter said she heard a voice shout, May almighty God have mercy on this state! in the Senate soon after the vote.
The legislation goes beyond Roe v. Wade, allowing abortions even when the Supreme Court has said states may regulate them, according to the pro-life leaders. Late-term abortions, which currently are illegal in New York, would be allowed, and non-doctors would be allowed to perform them.

WSYR news has an article claiming that NY is protecting women’s reproductive rights.
They are portraying this as a good thing.
That *protecting the mother’s health* clause IS what gives license to murder the child up until the moment of birth.
murder, plain and simple
Time for another 9-11 judgement day.
Time for another 9-11 judgement day.
Idiots!
“May they burn in hell”
May they go there as soon as possible.
It is done. I went to the capital several times last week (iwth other pro lifers) with our signs saying: “Late Term Children Feel Pain” Several pro aborts came up (women who know better!!) and said - no they don’t. These people have lost their capability to be rational and deny the obvious.
Yesterday we had Benediction at a church near the capital and prayed. It was a sick sad day. Upstate is conservative and hates Cuomo, however NYC always disenfranchises our vote.
“...tried for double murder...”
Not anymore in NYS - this law does away with the murder penalty for killing the baby even if the boyfriend or husband kills the baby and the mother lives, there used to be a murder charge for the baby but not anymore.
“...Bishop ... opposed Cuomo publicly...”
Yes he wrote a good open letter - he needs to do more and proclaim that Cuomo will be refused communion in his diocese.
Aside from 0bama’s _Residency, Roe v. Wade was the biggest LIE perpetrated upon the American People.
I was 12 years old when it passed. Millions upon millions of dead babies in my lifetime, alone. :(
Legalizing murder of babies. Disgusting .
Ditto both boys are out of New York and the wife and I follow in 2 1/2 years. There are some good people here particularly upstate. But Bagdad on the Hudson dominates the state. The US should kick NYC out of the union and see how the rest of the state functions without that lead ballast.
The World Trade Center spire, the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, the Kosciuszko Bridge and the Alfred E. Smith Building in Albany all lit pink, to celebrate the murdering of full term babies.
Disgusting.
NYS legalizes infanticide.
Because Baal, Ashtoreth, and Molech statues weren't available.
There is a video out there of one of these. Hard to find but there.
God is not mocked.
It is more than ironic that the Super Blood Wolf Moon appeared over America Sunday night before the vote. Abortion is the shedding of innocent blood voted in by wolves.
A baby in utero can feel pain.
Touch: the first sense to develop
Parts of the somatosensory system start to develop only a few weeks after conception. By week 8 of pregnancy, your baby has developed touch receptors in his face mostly on his lips and nose which are connected to his growing brain. Over the next few months, touch receptors start to form in other places throughout your babys body his genitals, palms and the soles of his feet by week 12, and the full abdomen by week 17. By week 32, every part of a fetus has gained a sense of touch thats sensitive enough to feel a single hair brushing across the body.
