FULL TITLE: Trump touts 'long overdue' Syria pullout, says US 'will devastate Turkey economically' if they attack Kurds
President Donald Trump on Sunday tweeted that the "long overdue pullout from Syria" is starting, and threatened that the U.S. will "devastate Turkey economically" if they attack Kurdish forces in the war-torn country.
Trump said the removal of troops, which he announced via Twitter in December, is happening "while hitting the little remaining ISIS territorial caliphate hard, and from many directions." The president also vowed that the U.S. "Will attack [ISIS] again from existing nearby base if it reforms."
Trump promised the U.S. will hit Turkey financially if Ankara attacks the Kurds, but noted in a follow-up tweet that he does "not want the Kurds to provoke Turkey."
"Russia, Iran and Syria have been the biggest beneficiaries of the long term U.S. policy of destroying ISIS in Syria - natural enemies," he wrote online. "We also benefit but it is now time to bring our troops back home. Stop the ENDLESS WARS!"

Thanks E. Pluribus Unum.
To “devastate Turkey economically “ is not optimum. But Erd may give us no other choice.
Afghanistan moves to the top of the "pullout now" list? Only about 12 years overdue.
Been there, done that.
The policy of President Trump is correct. We have no business in this sand trap.
We have whacked ISIS into a few walking dead.
And it is time for the US to leave. We have no national interest in this mess of antique Empires and tribes fighting with each other.
The wretched Kurds are like the Poles of the 1930’s, in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The Kurds are better allies that the feckless Turks under their mad Leader.

Love this guy!
“No more war!” *Boom!* LOL! He’s doing fine so far. Great president!
Maybe the Saudis could pay the Egyptians to patrol a 20 mile security buffer zone with an Armored Division or two, for a couple of years as peacekeepers.
Looks like mopping up ISIS in the Hajin pocket is about to enter a new phase, as a wave of civilians is being let out. Likely to be followed by a more intense offensive/rapid advance. Can’t be too many more weeks left in them, if they are pressed.

That’s my policy. Daily.
Don’t want any trouble like on the South side last year.

This is one of the things I voted for.
Thank you President Trump for keeping your promise despite the titanic pushback & lies from the Deep State, NeoCons & MSM.
I enjoy dead mussies as much as the next guy...
What is that supposed to mean?

H.R. 106, was introduced by Adam Schiff (D-CA) on January 30, 2007.
A few hundred Javelin missiles to start with along with some modern Stinger missiles for air cover. If the Congress critters are averse to them getting the Javelin then I’m sure we can arrange for them to get some of the Spike LR from the Israelis.
