Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had two cancerous nodules removed from her left lung Friday at a New York hospital, the Supreme Court announced.

There is no evidence of any remaining disease, says a court spokesperson, nor is there evidence of disease elsewhere in the body.

I wish her a pain free rest of her life and hope she will choose to spend it at home with loved ones and allow the SCOTUS to regain sanity.

"Hmmm. Same side as the three broken ribs.... I don’t think she had broken ribs, it was a biopsy."

You're onto it. Remember how little apparent trouble those "broken" ribs caused her and how many people here who had experienced real broken ribs or had friends/family who'd experienced them commented on how odd it was that she'd suffered so little pain and incapacity from them, especially given her advanced age. This is looking a lot like the way the MSM tried to cover up Teddy's glioblastoma. Let's all watch for the NYT, in true emulation of the late Pravda, to publish an ambiguously worded article with a link to one or more medical sources that will spill the beans for those in the know, just as it did with the Swimmer.

And a very frail 85 year old at that.

Sometimes just being put under general anesthesia at that age and in her condition can have a negative effect.

Thank you so much. My sons latest hospitalization started right after Labor Day. He will be home for Christmas. Prayers have been coming from people around the world and I have to believe it helps.

Yep.

If she even hinted at retirement, the left would lynch her.

Justice Ginsberg said if she had to draft a Constitution, she would not use the U.S. Constitution as a model. She would use South Africa's Constitution.

In addition, a patient in so weakened a condition is subject to Shingles. Can be fatal at times. Something many do not realize. Regardless, if not fatal it will weaken ones body so much that life ends...

It is one of the hardest ways to go. Very likely she has it elsewhere in her body once it reaches the lungs.

Pray for her healing.

I also heard that it was pancreatic cancer, which would be a much worse diagnosis. At any rate, she is 85 years old, which means she is staying on the court by her sheer will and by the grace of Gd. But, as is always the case, it is God who will determine her stay in office. I personally wish her no ill will. All of our days are numbered and we don’t yet know how many she has.

She has been dead for years. Imagine the crying from the democrats in congress when they really do bury her and Donald Trump picks someone who follows the law!! : )

They will throw everything at the person including the kitchen sink.

I would guess that the comment about no other signs of the disease in her body narrows it down to primary lung ...

Yep, started as thyroid and moved to lung. He had 2 or 3 surgeries and really lived a normal life for the first 15 years or so. The last year and a half were bad. He smoked during the war when he was in the Navy but then never again. But that’s when smokers smoked indoor everywhere so he was probably exposed to tons of second hand smoke. He died in 1995.

She's had colon and pancreatic cancer in the past that were removed.

The cancer in her lung could be metastatic from those.

Yeah - been seeing other comments on her past and also on seeming evidence she has been under treatment for cancer for some time....while they say they found the nodes during routine checks from the ribs accident, it may be that the ribs deal was a feint to hide the truth....if she’s on the downturn, and holding on in hopes of keeping Trump from picking another then it says a lot about her - puts her in McCain territory.
