Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had two cancerous nodules removed from her left lung Friday at a New York hospital, the Supreme Court announced.
There is no evidence of any remaining disease, says a court spokesperson, nor is there evidence of disease elsewhere in the body.

So far there are no tests for the disease of liberalism, which has metastasized throughout her body.
If it’s not advanced, this is minor. My Dad lived with lung cancer for almost 17 years. He was younger than she was, but that was decades ago and he had way less money available to him that she does.
Her hope is to make it to January 2021, and President Trump isn’t there.
She’s not going to last another 2 years.
I see no comment about these being primary lung cancer or metastatic colon or pancreatic cancer.
She seems to have nine lives, and to have used about 4 or 5.
I know we’re supposed to say get well soon and all of that jazz and just ignore how truly hateful RBG has been toward conservatives (except those she serves on the court with) her whole life but this is my honest reaction.
This is the kind of day when I can’t open my mouth without a song jumpin’ right out of it.

“nothing at all”
If she is alive a year from now, the Republicans in the Senate won’t approve a Trump selection, they will have.
How old was he when it was diagnosed?

Imagine believing that you are so important and so irreplaceable that you can’t live out your golden years peaceably with you family. This may not be about ego but it does, in some way, seem like it. Wishing her the best but I hope she retires
Kagan and Sotomayor?
Likely only needs to survive one year. McConnell and Graham are certain to invoke the presidential election year rule.
CNN says: "Ginsburg had two cancerous nodules removed from her left lung Friday:
But the statement termed it a : "pulmonary lobectomy".
Definition: Each lung is made up of 2 or 3 sections called lobes. A lobectomy is the surgical removal of one of these sections from the lung.
That sounds far more serious than the removal of a nodule from one of the lobes.
Can a person with experience on this clarify that possible conflict?
If its not advanced, this is minor.

Correct. The prognosis long term survival rate is good.
If this is a primary lung cancer, much depends on the type of cancer— small cell versus non-small cell (or even squamous). I would guess that these are metastatic from her cancer history.
Anyone ever notice that her middle name begins with “Bad?”
And the cancerous nodules were on her LEFT lung?
This is a Bunyanesque allegory come to life.
“Anyone ever notice that her middle name begins with Bad?
No.
