Gov. Rick Scott late Friday suspended embattled Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes even though Snipes had already agreed to step down from her post in early January. Scott replaced Snipes with his former general counsel even though Peter Antonacci has no elections experience.
Snipes responded by rescinding her previous resignation and will now be "fighting this to the very end," her attorney said during a Saturday news conference.
"We believe these actions are malicious," said Burnadette Norris-Weeks, who said that Broward County voters should be concerned about what Scott is trying to do in the Democratic stronghold by putting in an ally who could oversee the office into the 2020 elections.

Just what Florida needs/ more of snipes? Sheitt!
She needs to be in jail but in this instant she is a black women and will not
“I guess goin on a snipe hunt is going to be considered ‘hate speech’.”
Snipe hunts were fun on “Spin And Marty”. With this snipe hunt ... not so much.
She be privileged, yo!
What a loser. This is the type of POS that is taking down America.
Sorry, but schools of education and Doctorates in education are nothing but affirmative action. The easiest degree to get is edukashun. Skin color and "gender" uber alles.
As an example, the state of New York recently passed a law requiring prospective school teachers to take a literacy test to get their license, but repealed it the following year because 36 percent of whites failed the test on the first try, while 54 percent of Hispanics and 59 percent of blacks failed.

In other words the State of New York is knowingly putting a large number of illiterate teachers in classrooms.
Nothing will change until that changes.
Will no one relieve us of this troublesome bitch?
Throw her corrupt ass in jail.
In general, if you are found to have committed criminal acts in performance of your state or regional public job...that could have an outcome (way down the line) of lessening your pension. All total (school years and this 15 years of election management for the county)...I think her pension level is near $130k (doesn’t include social security). So I could see a reason why she’d go and rescind the resignation, and fight this.
The question here will be...was she simply incompetent, or acting on some criminal behavior. Based on what I’ve seen in the papers throughout this episode...I lean more to incompetency (I think the job was a lot more complicated than what she was capable of handling). Does her age (75) also play into this? Maybe. In a true investigation, we may find that she was just the naive and ‘slow’ older manager, and that the next two or three people under her were the ones with the criminal behavior.
This cretin criminal should be imprisoned then exiled.
Fraudina DeCrook is scary looking. She needs to be approached with garlic and a crucifix.
Do the world a favor , snipe Snipes .
Yeah man wow!!
What went wrong and when?
It’s an easy answer. Just look at the photo in #2.
Dumb white twenty-something female media “reporters” think she’s “cool” and “ethnic.”
They’d never scuff their perfectly-decorated fingernails researching whether she is also hopelessly corrupt as well.
She wants a recount.
I agree with that as well. She resigned so she could keep her pension in place. She's probably been using her personal time until her actual resignation date of January 4th. I wonder though if her suspension is with pay, or without. I believe Scott suspended her so that if she's criminally charged, her pension can be rescinded. In many cases, government employees that are arrested and criminally charged, are given the option to resign, instead of going through the motions of bringing them up on departmental charges, and going through an arbitration hearing. Their pensions are intact, but they will have to wait until they reach a specific age in order to collect it.

Thanks for the insight. Hmmm...Sounds good.
I like the idea that she will fight it, because it seems like it opens the door to the gov. providing evidence of her activities that would otherwise not see the light of day. We shall see.

I will be interested in learning more about her job performance. I have a more negative view but it’s based on whatever I was reading/watching and not a full analysis. IN particular, I was against her refusing to cooperate with a request for ballots - something like that. As I said, I haven’t seen it all yet.
