The gang, from Direct Action Everywhere, flashed anti-meat eating signs with "It's not food, it's violence" emblazoned on them and barked out a speech at the Touro Steakhouse in Brighton. But after barging through the restaurant they were ordered to leave with jeering diners chanting “you’re not singing anymore” as they were marched out. Footage of the demonstration begins with the person filming saying: “This smells horrible, look at all the flesh.” But as a spokeswoman attempts to give a speech about the benefits of veganism, patrons can be heard mocking her with one mimicking a cow mooing while waiters can be seen arguing with the protesters. Behind the camera, someone says: “They’re letting us protest but they’re eating the flesh of animals in front of us.”

Murdering innocent plants is OK though....
If someone wants to be a Vegan, that’s fine. What annoys me is the fact that so many feel this burning desire to compel everyone else to be Vegan. You do your thing, and leave me alone to do mine.

Don’t know much about Brighton (other than it’s in the UK) but I think a stunt like that wouldn’t be received quite as well in a city like Lubbock or Tulsa.
My daughter decided to “go vegan” for about a year. Her husband and kids did not participate other thann eating what she cooked for herself along with their normal foods.
She finally broke because she missed brie cheese and sushi. It did help her lose about 15-20 pounds though. So that’s the good side I suppose.
What right do they have to interfere with other people’s right to be left alone? They have a beef (no pun intended) then protest somewhere else. I feel if people feel threatened by them they have the right to react.
Try that in Iowa (Hog Capitol of the World) or Texas or Oklahoma or Kansas or Nebraska, etc.

Vegans forget vegetable farming starts with total destruction of what becomes farmland. Every plant & animal is evicted or killed to make room for acres of homogeneous unnaturally-selected plants.

They're uncomfortable taking it a step further and saying that we're all living organisms, because that would include plants. Then they'd have to live like this guy.
They prove what happens to the brain when they don’t eat meat.
