Mitt Romney, the GOP nominee and front-runner in Utahs U.S. Senate race, said Friday that had he been in office, he would have supported the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who appears poised to be confirmed Saturday. I would vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh, Romney said, given his decades of admirable public service and his 12-year record as an accomplished justice on the second highest court of the land.

Is 30 hours enough to analyze what it means to throw ice in a bar when youre in your early 20s? Its a deep issue with tremendous complexity.

Romney did it after the votes were counted. Leading from behind, as it were.
So, yeah. He’s a weasel.

Since I never know how to think for myself, whenever a difficult issue comes up for our country, I quietly pray that Mitt Romney will signal to me what I should believe and do. He always comes through. Without Mitt, I couldn't make any decisions. I sometimes wonder if God also needs to schedule some time with Mitt on the really tough questions. Nowadays God probably just reads the paper because thankfully Mitt always arranges for them to publish his judgments.
Thanks Mitt! We're nothing without you! Don't ever go silent! We neeeeeeeed you so much!

Romney: “Did he get enough votes to be confirmed”.
McConnell: “Yes”.
Romney: “Okay then... I would have voted for him too”.

When the outcome is predetermined, then it is truly a profile in courage to throw your support behind Cavanaugh. Thanks eternally Romney you gay Mormon weather vane.

Lets see... Romney supports Kavanaugh and most everyone here tells him to STFU, and go to hell? <<
That's not as weird as when they kept bashing "Rudy McRomney" during the primary as the RINO trio, then the INSTANT Fred Thompson dropped out, they all flocked to Romney overnight on FR. After he lost to McCain, they then begged McCain to make him his running mate and talked about McCain-Romney as a "dream ticket".
During that time period I wondered if this whole forum had been hijacked by the steering committee of the "Republican Main Street Partnership". FR gushing over RINOs was very Twilight Zoneish.

Obama was such a bad president, I didn’t think anybody the Republicans put up against him could possibly lose. But Milt pulled it off.

Too late, Mitt. You could have shown support before he doesn’t need it.

To be fair Romney could have said this BEFORE it was clear Kav would pass.
Like last week- or from the beginning.
Saying it now seems weaselly.
