Attorney General Jeff Sessions pushed back against President Donald Trump on Thursday, saying in a statement released by a spokesperson that the Department of Justice would not be "improperly influenced by political considerations" hours after Trump attacked him on television.
"I took control of the Department of Justice the day I was sworn in, which is why we have had unprecedented success at effectuating the President's agenda," Sessions said in the statement which was posted on Twitter by Justice Department spokesperson Sarah Isgur Flores.

Anymore
‘effectuating’
Is that the same as delaying, impeding and/or stonewalling?
I hate these people.
Worthless sack of manure.
He must mean law enforcement is not to be enforced on politicians.
Those are very highly influenced by political considerations and protecting YOUR phony baloney jobs.
I have come to unhappy conclusion that this man is an imbecile. He came from the U.S. Senate. I should have known.
Absolutely. That's why the President keeps attacking you all the time, because you're doing such a great job effectuating his agenda.
Actions? What actions? Where? When?
Sessions is a waste of perfectly good skin.
Mr. Trump, please fire this corrupt, useless jerk.
I think we can safely say there are guns to peoples heads, we have lost the country, Trump, declare an attempted coup, place the military on the streets, clean house, reform, and as the troops are coming off the streets circle entire cities and clean out all illegals period,,our only hope, else the world will fall..we cannot even play that game and win
“Sessions IS the insurance Strozk texted about.”
That sounds like a bit of a stretch. I think it more likely Sessions just figured out an excuse to avoid the heavy lifting and found himself a cozy sinecure.
I read the whole press release and it didn’t give any details about what Sessions thinks he has accomplished. One thing it mentioned is enforcement of immigration laws and I’m still unclear what responsibilities the DOJ has in that area. Maybe I’m wrong but I thought primary responsibility for enforcement of such laws were the purview of Homeland Security.
The blatant Leftist criminal activity continues to go unaddressed...
Those who hate this nation and or President Trump are having a field day.
Is Sessions aware of any of this?
Has he taken measures to begin to reign this in behind the scenes?
Is he going to spend his entire assignment at the Department of Justice and fail to address any of it?
The American people deserve to know!
Problem with Sessions is, legally speaking, he’s too ...conservative.
It seems that Sessions is either the most inept and incompetent AG that I can remember, or an Obama-Clinton plant in the Trump administration or the best actor in the world (if you assume that he and Trump are running the most brilliant covert op against the deep state imaginable). I’m not sure that a fourth option is possible.
Trust the plan
and
“enjoy the show”
and
“we have it all”
and
“they never though she would loose”
Crap, things just got real. They now have something to charge Trump with, petty as it may be. And no one in DC will stand up for what is right.
Department of Justice would not be “improperly influenced by political considerations” or laws.
There!
Thoughts on Sessions these days?
in response to National Emergency.?. Somebody is busy.
Failure at the job ,so fire him
