Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Sunday said she hopes to remain on the high court for at least five more years, according to CNN.
"My senior colleague, Justice John Paul Stevens, he stepped down when he was 90, so think I have about at least five more years," 85-year-old Ginsburg said at an event in New York City.
Speculation over the future of the Supreme Court has mounted in recent weeks following President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, who would replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy. Kavanaugh's confirmation would sway the balance of the co

Oops...I missed one.
John Paul Stevens, 1920-, 90 at retirement, still living at 98.
As the saying goes, this old bird should’t buy green bananas.
That photo of her as a beautiful young woman shows the effects of a life filled with bitterness. You never see Ginsburg without either a snarling grimace or an evil smirk.
It time to start term limiting these bass turds. She can’t stay awake now. Her staff will be making and writing all of her decisions if they aren’t doing that already. Imagine what the next five years are going to be like.
No I was around 60K with a company truck. Only overtime was during hurricanes. We had to stay for days, but were on the clock 24/7.
Work was easy, politics sucked, kept my conservative mouth shut to keep my job. Lots a people making big money didn’t do anything and dumped their work on underlings.
She would have retired if Hillary had become President. She’s just doing this because she HATES Trump.
Yes, but is a democrat fully on a life support system dead by law?
Will they put up with years of a dead person on life support to avoid a replacement appointment by a conservative president?
I think they will.
She just might. Only God knows.
the best predictor is how old were her parents when they died.
Will she stay alive or awake that long.
According to actuarial tables, at 85, she is expected to live to almost 92 years old.

remember that is the best picture of all the proofs. And photographers always use the side shot with unattractive people.
and lots of airbrushing.
God may have other plans.
Her dissenting opinions ought to be a gas when dementia sets in.

She does not write her opinions but instead a cadre of protective, ideologically pure leftist clerks do.
Not one of them would have the courage to break the silence and work towards her removal/retirement.
This way, when she keels over in a year or two, Big Media will suddenly discover the curiosity they eschewed when Scalia suddenly passed with a phoned in cause of death, etc.
She use the words "at least" 5 years, so 5 is a minimum. Perhaps the 'Rats will go for 500.
Mom was so happy in life...she marveled several times “ I can’t believe I’m going to be eighty years old”, she thought her life was going to run out after about 65, so 79 was astonishing to her. She never made 80. Died 3 months before her 80th. Worst day of my life...
And this is what I simply do not understand.
If Supreme Court justices are supposed to decide the law, based upon the Constitution, then why are liberals so very concerned that Ginsberg stays on the court? Isn’t this an admission that they do have litmus tests, and that they do expect justices to make decisions on their behalf based upon their shared political view?
I find it disturbing that the Left has preached that justices shouldn’t have a pro-life litmus test, and yet every single focal point of the left for any nominee is about abortion.
All the work is done by the legal clerks. You think that she actually does any work? She might assist in editing but I doubt she even does that. She lets the liberal hacks do it for her. Could she even aurge a case today? No.

Within the last three (3) months, I have had two (2) college friends who were in their 60s die suddenly. Booth were successful professionals with advanced degrees. If asked, I would have guessed both would die in their 90s.
Ginsburg's health may not be the best but she has a job that she likes to do and appears not in any great amount of pain. Of course she hopes to live to the age of 90. Or 100. Who wouldn't?
Do they have enough Formaldehyde to keep it going?
