Sources and methods? The FBI used the DNC/Hillary campaign for its source material and the FBI's method was to then lie to the FISA court about the source material used in the request.
One think I like about starting here, is that as far as I know, it’s already been conclusively established that if there any “there there” in the Russian collusion narrative, it doesn’t involve Carter Page. So there can’t be a legitimate explanation for this particular aspect of the case, there are only illegitimate ones, and now we know what those were.

Right. My question was: did the FISA court just rubber stamp the renewal every time they were asked to renew it, or did they ever ask (as required when granting these things) “Do you have a separate finding of probable cause for the renewal?”

Here is the real heavy weight legal threat to the Clintons.
Obstruction of Justice is a RICO crime. I assert that perjury for the sake of obtaining an illegal warrant is defacto obstruction. Since more than 2 such occurrences has happened in the last 10 years, RICO can come into play.
If investigated as a RICO crime, through the office of special prosecutor, you now can include the DNC / Clinton campaign as they financially aided the crime via paying for the memo. This could be the start of a whole lot of intense investigations into the Clinton crime cabal.
Does someone in the DOJ have the balls to appoint a special prosecutor with the backbone to go after this? We shall see, and we will be watching.

If Mark Levin is right on this (and I assume he would be, as he was the Chief of Staff for Edwin Meese and handled these kinds of communications) it should have been included in the daily briefing for the President.
Unless it was not disclosed to the White House because of his relationship with the person being surveilled.
I admit I don’t know how this works.
