You’re one year ahead :-) ... Trump was inaugurated in 2017 :-). They’ve been at it for a year now monitoring him ... I suspect that’s due to the Muller investigation though.

If Mark Levin is right on this (and I assume he would be, as he was the Chief of Staff for Edwin Meese and handled these kinds of communications) it should have been included in the daily briefing for the President.
Unless it was not disclosed to the White House because of his relationship with the person being surveilled.
