The accuser is Tchiya Amet, a “musician, healer, and teacher” who says she studied Galactic Astronomy in the graduate program at the University of Texas in Austin and she wanted to become the first black female astronaut. In a blog post in October 2014, she claimed she was a grad student at the same time Tyson was there, and that he drugged and raped her.

I intensely dislike Neil DeGrasse Tyson for the same reasons that I dislike Bill Nye the Pseudoscience Guy, but I find myself skeptical in this instance.
Tyson is a creep.

Bring the popcorn. It will be quite a spectacle to finally see the Leftist professors at UT get named and shamed for their private sins. Neil DeGrasse Tyson is house negro to the Communist cabal paid for by the taxpayers of Texas. The best thing we could do for the youth of our state would be to close this hatchery of failed Socialist ideas.

In my opinion, Tyson has wasted a gift for speaking and a strong intellect on leftism.
As all good leftists know, if a woman even imagines a man committed a sex related offense, that’s enough, because all men are potential rapists.

I suspect that this will turn into the next phase of the episode. A place like University of Texas? Probably over forty professors who’ve committed sexual assaults. The question will arise over tenure and if they might lose tenure if convicted.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

If you were to look him up (not really worth your time) you may realize why people will chuckle at that question.

Funny thing is, nowhere in the article does it say she confronted him about her passing out after drinking the ‘water’. Surely she must have asked him what happened, right? “Did you have sex with me while I was asleep? Yes or no?”
Or did she fall asleep after a little white wine and wake up in a panic presuming that she must have been raped?
This info may be available elsewhere, but it’s not in the article. She seems to be blaming him for not achieving her goals of being an astrophysicist and later an astronaut.

Why do I dislike Neil DeGrasse Tyson? For the same reasons that I dislike Bill Nye the Pseudoscience Guy: Pompous poseur, politicization of science, intellectual vacuity. What’s not to dislike. I actually liked Tyson when he was just the curator of New York’s Hayden Planetarium, and a science popularizer.
Why am I skeptical: there are a lot of loose cannon on the shifting deck of any graduate school, and occasionally one goes off.
I love it.
I suspect this is a case of "sympathetic hysteria", wherein a bunch of these women are trying to "out-molest" one another.
I think we'll see more and more of it, since it is such an easy charge to make, it's immediately flammable, and the attention it brings to the "molestee" is cheap and quick and results in at least 5 minutes of fame, before moving on to the next one.
In no way am I defending any of these cretins, especially these hypocritical damned liberals.
I am flabbergasted, though, at the physical nastiness of some of these molesters...Weinstein...a pure pig...Weiner...a picture-book pervert...Toback...an old fart with no ability to follow through...and on and on.
And yes, GWH Bush is in that category, if indeed he did as he has been accused.
I defend none of them, but I do know that as a rule, if a pervert is gonna be a pervert, it's also highly likely they are gonna be a liberal dimocrat, or have liberal tendencies.
And it's also true that the dims will circle the wagons around one of their own and do everything they can to denigrate the accuser.
They also ignore the perverts that are admitted perverts...as in the hypocrisy of Ellen Degnerate leering at Katy Perry's bazooms...how is that not blatant sexual harrassment...since she (Degenerate) is the poster child for faggotism or lesbianism or whatever they call it nowadays.

I wouldn't go that far. The producers, writers, and directors were primarily responsible for that dreck. Tyson was the front man, but my, what a gawdawful fustercluck that production was. A missed opportunity, for sure.
