Carl Sagan would (probably) be pretty embarrassed by Neil (although I don’t know what Sagan’s politics were, back then Leftists occasionally called out other Leftists, which NEVER happens now).

I’ll repeat myself. I don’t accept as established fact these long-after accusations of rape and other forms of abuse. I have to wonder how often it was consensual at the time, and if at times women didn’t go along for a personal benefit.
I saw NDT’s mask dip slightly when he was on family Feud. Steve Harvey made a silly joke about “Uranus” (who doesn’t?) and NDT went medieval on him in a self-righteous, sneering, sanctimonious fashion on national TV.
Of course, that was all Steve Harvey needed and the rest was classic. I was Laughing Out Loud!
NDT was not prepared that ANYBODY, ANYWHERE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, would DARE to josh at him about his “area of expertise”. He was grumpy and sulky for the rest of the game.
