WASHINGTON U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said so-called chain migration, a term often used to refer to citizens or permanent residents sponsoring relatives or the clustering of certain immigrants in the same areas, cannot be included in any immigration legislation.
CHAIN MIGRATION cannot be allowed to be part of any legislation on Immigration! Trump wrote on Twitter.

“This amnesty will encourage more later, it always works that way.”
American society is under attack, and any attempt to defend it is shouted down as racist, selfish, and/or fascist. The real racism is coming from those who don’t want to become Americans, but instead want to ‘transform’ America.
Like Levin, yet ANOTHER instance of govt NOT following the law, but let’s pretend adding *more* layers will make ‘em have to 1) do their job 2) read/follow the plain English therein.
Course, we’re battling from our own 5yrd line by choice: There’s *NO* ‘anchor-babies’ per the 14th, ‘immigration reform’, etc.
Hell, they chose to NO follow ‘shall not be infringed’, ‘Congress shall make NO law’, but HERE, *magically* here, will be different?
I got a better one: Reciprocal immigration policies. China’s policies for all Chinese, Mexico’s policies for Mexicans...Let the Left tie-themselves into knots on THAT one.
Besides, the argument is these “kids” had no choice, their parents are the ones who broke the law and brought them over.
The parents on the other hand had a choice, deliberately broke into this country thinking the Dems would rule and they’d eventually get amnesty, enough. If the kids don’t want their family broken up, go back with them. They’re old enough (avg age 26) to have a choice now.
Well, we don’t need to be bringing in harems of foreign princes and hordes of foreign slaves for...slavery. We don’t need to be bringing in many people with vastly different, foreign cultures for their much more expensive adjustments to our American culture. We shouldn’t be bringing in anyone who only wants to come for the money.
But it’s also interesting to see comments from the odd few Americans of short American heritage who would want to keep, for example, a U.S. serviceman’s wife—sometimes a widow with children—in a foreign country away from their U.S. husband and father.
Americans have been allowed to bring their foreign husbands or wives and children to the States all along, and laws were made long ago to continue to support it. Many have married overseas and later brought their family in.
The President is right. He won’t sign legislation that includes “chain migration,” but he also won’t sign legislation that includes any effort to “hurt small children and puppies for the purpose of sadistic entertainment.”
It’s bad enough, that global business interests of some of our so-called allies libel the U.S.A. to our neighbors. We don’t need to be further ruining our own public affairs with foreign nations by mandating atrocities against families that fit right in to our culture. Some of them speak English, choose our culture to be a part of and want to be here for the purpose of being good Americans.
In other words, bring the good ones in. Keep the corruption out.
Bump, no way the courts of the Democrats will allow millions to be reduced to 2cd class citizenship.
This will of course kill DACA as long as they stick to it. End chain migration now.
The usual RINO game: Amnesty now, Enforcement “later”.
where you been? Dems already are, and if Trump hadn’t pushed the button, they would still be content to leave things just the same, so they could milk the issue and put people in the streets each election.
“I bet you’ll be cheering him bigly.”
I’ll be cheering him big league.
“Boy, the NeverTrumpers are rampant on this thread.”
Not just this thread - the trolling has reached a whole new level in recent days, on FR, Twitter, and throughout the fake news. There’s something afoot. Some new and better funded, better organized misinformation campaign designed to seperate Trump from his supporters. Some of it is pretty subtle, although not on this thread.
If all the fake news trolling was as stupid as the examples on this thread, we’d have nothing to worry about.
What worries me a bit is that a lot of honest Trump supporters seem to be incredibly gullible - they assume too much about the good intentions of others.
My own mother was that way - very smart, very astute and a well-read and articulate constitutional conservative, but she had a blind spot: she was raised in a time when journalists weren’t so comfortable with lying. She trusted that if all the newspapers were repeating it, there must be some truth to it.
Fortunately, she was spared of having to witness the sorry state of what passes for journalism today.
I am glad others see it too, the orchestration. God bless your mother. Like you, I am blessed that my mother didn’t have to witness the decadence of the extreme level we have today. Evil knows no social, cultural, religious, political or geographical boundary. We have to keep our guards up at all times.
I don’t believe foreigners coming here, that are citizens of another country, that have a child born here, the so called anchor babies, that the kid gets American citizenship. I believe they should be citizens of the parents nation, not US citizens. IF and when mom and dad legally become citizens, then the kids can become citizens also, but this anchor baby crap is the death bell. They sit on the border waiting for mom to get ready to give birth, then race across the border and head for ER and she has the kid and they all get to stay here. THAT IS WRONG!!!
The last wall deal gave us anchor babies. Since trump has such a heart for dreamers, we are about to be invaded.. more.
