The Trump administration on Tuesday began the process of formally rescinding the highly controversial Waters of the U.S. rule, an Obama-era regulation that gave Washington broad powers over streams and other small bodies of water across the country.
The rule, put forth in 2015 but subsequently stayed by the Supreme Court before going into effect, was one of EPA Administrator Scott Pruitts top targets when he took the helm at the agency. President Trump earlier this year signed an executive order directing Mr. Pruitt to review the rule, and with Tuesdays action, the EPA says its finalized that review and will move to permanently strike the regulation from the books.

Excellent.
“If his Presidency consisted of nothing more than striking decades of Federal laws from the books, it would be a success.
He doesn’t need to enact a single piece of new legislation. All he needs to do is get rid of old ones. “
AND
Appoint THREE more Justices to the SCOTUS!
But you know what, he’s turning over “rocks” in every nook and cranny of this POS we have known as the United States Federal Government. And under each “rock,” he finds a bunch of “RAT cockroaches” with a sheave of ill-conceived laws and regulations. I don’t expect to “See the Second Coming,” in what’s left of my live, but this will do.
“Now. How to make it so it never comes back?”
Answer: Three more appointments to the SCOTUS! And secondarily, sell off every cubicle of office space that is unneeded.
Yeah, the Ninth Circus may feel froggy.
This is awesome news.
Praise the Lord. Sanity is restored. The massive socialist power grab has been stymied temporarily.
Seriously, Trump should close down Fed EPA so the next scum sucking Democrat President can’t abuse us with it again.
We don’t have enough prison cells to house the corrupt bastards in politics at every level in every agency and department and in the US Congress!
We could, however, fill a bunch of C-5’s and dump them off in Afganistan or Syria.
They making threatening noises about our neighbor's spring fed pond. He cleaned it and put in some sand to make a beach area. Apparently that was a no no although they did not seem to have a understandable reason as to why.
The Feds should have NO say...about my ponds/lakes on my land.
I know for a fact I treat them right...and always have.
Agreed.
But he can only change regulation by himself, not law. Great that he is doing this, but a different admin can swing the other way, as we have seen with Obama. We need the legislation to put the legal barriers in place to prevent that, or its all just temporary.
This is a very good development. That was a horrible rule that Mullah Obama put into place.
Poor Maxine.
>>Trumps EPA changes have largely flown under the radar but they are by far the biggest and most important changes for the US economy.
Yes! Much more needs to be made of the President’s rollback of that tyrannical Marxist-run operation deceptively known as the Environmental Protection Agency.
Farmers can now “construct” mini-mountain ranges at will.
For those of you that are familiar with the term mini-mountain range, it is what the EPA and Corps of Engineers claimed were created when the farmer plowed their fields. This led to silt laden runoff to the “waters of the State”.
Primary out every last UniParty member.
A bigly win!
Trump will go down as a great president. You just won’t hear about it on the Msm.
I just hope, that for once in my life, a decent administration will not take a pass on prosecuting their corrupt, treasonous predecessors. This all goes way beyond dirty politics, and they need to start by indicting that Fat Co*n Loretta Lynch and her butt boy Comey. It probably isn’t worth going after the Clintons, but if they want to, as far as I am concerned, they should have at it. If G-d is still watching over this corrupt country, maybe he can “facilitate” their immediate departure to the warmest spot in Hell.
