Tuesday on CNN’s “At This Hour,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Russian President Vladimir Putin was a “war criminal” who he believes “intentionally left chemical weapons in the hands of Assad.”

Does anyone really know where ALL the chemical wespons ended-up after the war began to go badly for Assad? The USA’s “allies” lost control over weapons that we gave them, so isn’t it possible that the same thing could have happened with Assad’s canisters? Are we so sure that this did NOT happen that we are willing to attack a government that did not attack us?
Didn’t Obama assure us that ALL the chemical weapons in Syria had been removed and destroyed?

I remain interested in the notion that Saddam DID have “weapons of mass destruction” right up until the US invaded, and that they were clandestinely taken to a willing Syria just before the invasion. That’s a convenient theory for those who continued to believe that the Bush Administration and Pentagon were correct about the presence of WMD in Iraq. But, it might just be true.
If so, it is almost certainly the case that some of those weapons have fallen into the hands of bad actors on all sides of the Syrian debacle.

If some of the chemical weapons did fall into the hands of bad actors other than Assad, we may have attacked the wrong thugs. We need to get off of our moral high horse and stop posturing about dead babies.

It's not that her balderdash sells. South Carolina, unfortunately, has open primaries and enough Democrats cross over to insure linda a victory.
