It's not Neil Gorsuch's fault, but we can't support his ascension to a stolen Supreme Court seat

Trump put out a list of 21 names of people he would consider for nomination to SCOTUS. Hillary could have done the same, and certainly Hillary could have critiqued the 21 names Trump did name - or at least one of them.

This past election was, in no small part, about those names on that list. As opposed to what the electorate believed Hillary would have put on SCOTUS. Hillary and the Democrats were supremely confident of victory.

The states, via the Electoral College, chose Trump and his very public list . . . and “Them” - as comedian Jimmy Durante used to put it - “is the conditions that prevail."

Consider the following:

Bill Clinton exits the presidency. Hillary wants in on her many schemes. Daniel Patrick Moynihan, senator of New York. He allegedly comes down with acute appendicitis, and, what do you know.....he dies. These days only 1 in 10,000 people die of acute appendicitis. This is a completely different disease than a ruptured appendix.

. Think of it. A sitting senator, from New York no less, dies after entering the hospital with acute appendicitis. Hilary now has a clear shot to a senatorship.

Antonine Scalia goes quail hunting and is found in his room, face up, with a pillow on his face, dead. Now Obama gets to appoint another hyper liberal appointee to SCOTUS. Hillary is expected, by alleged polling to win the presidency. She would have no supreme court resistance toward her end.

Is she capable of these acts, implied.

Not after the outrageous obstruction of Judge Merrick Garland’s nomination for 10 full months by Senate Republicans.

In other words, the LA Times editorial board believes Gorsuch should not be nominated because it's throwing a temper tantrum after Republicans followed the Biden rule. Tough bananas - Gorsuch will be confirmed. Hopefully his rulings will warrant his nomination by a conservative president and the LA Times will continue to rue the day he was confirmed.

Assassinating a sitting justice as a way to make a vacant seat is a pretty gross means of stealing a seat. Trying to pack the court with liberals by killing the most conservative justice and offering up a leftist replacement is just beyond sick. The LA Slimes is happy to play along.
