It was an honor to have been considered for Secretary of State of our great country. My discussions with President-elect Trump have been both enjoyable and enlightening. I have very high hopes that the new administration will lead the nation to greater strength, prosperity and peace.

I think 99% of Washington and the media don't get it yet. Trump has the people on his side. He won DESPITE Washington and the media throwing everything they could at him. Trump does not need them to be successful. He's going to leave burning, smoldering hunks just as he did to all the Republican challengers and Hillary Clinton.
Trump is untouchable. The media can't shape him and frame him.

Not at all. I’ve been with Trump since the “Mexican rapists”. I’m just stunned he chose a crony capitalist who has been decorated by KGB Vlad for the most important cabinet post. Totally done deaf pick, IMO.
You don’t get it. If someone tries to derail a nomination, trump will call them out personally to the American people. I don’t imagine he will pull any punches and DJT enjoys incredible support, an overwhelming mandate.
Anyone who stands against that mandate will be crushed. I don’t know how, but I know trump will crush them and succeed.
Sorry, you guys don’t get it. Little Marco won’t face an election for 6 years. I can assure you he doesn’t give a flip what President Trump tweets about him. If anything he will want to burnish his “maverick” credentials now. What Rubio does care about is what his Chamber of Commerce donors say. And if they deliver votes for Trump there will be a price to be paid. Count on it. That’s how the beltway swamp works. Understand?

You’re dreaming. Timing matters very much in the Senate. Look how McCain became a born again Conservative right before his reelection. Rubio has six years. The last thing he is going to worry about now is Trump’s tweets.
