(CNN) Hillary Clinton's campaign is waging a full-out war on FBI Director James Comey in the final 10 days of the election.
A day after Comey made the stunning announcement that the FBI is examining newly unveiled emails that appear to be "pertinent" to the now-closed investigation into Clinton's private server, top campaign officials unleashed a blistering attack on the FBI director, accusing him of being irresponsibly "light on facts" and "heavy on innuendo."
On a conference call with reporters Saturday, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta accused Comey of failing to be "forthcoming with the facts." Podesta blasted both the timing and contents of the letter Comey sent to congressional leaders on Friday, summing the director's actions as "providing selective information."

Assange has said he’s got emails so damaging, they’ll get her arrested. You don’t say something that threatening to the Clintons unless you’ve really got the goods.

It would be God’s hand if a way came to light to bring damning evidence to the FBI that they couldn’t obliterate about Hillary because too many important people already know it exists and what it is. It may be checkmate. Wouldn’t that be absolutely wonderful?
She knows that he can’t release the info during the investigation so the smartest thing to do is act like you want it released. Then the public (she hopes) could think it must not be anything much if she wants it released, and how transparent of her.

Uh, Hillary, you don’t need no stinkin FBI to release Huma’s emails. Huma works for you, and if you REALLY want the public to know what emails the FBI have, just ask Huma what emails the FBI seized from her and have HUMA give us her emails herself!
Oh, and if there was even a single “reporter” that’s worthy of the name, they should be asking THAT question to Hillary, namely, “Hillary, why don’t you just have Huma release her emails?” But we all know that’s not going to happen. 96% of “reporters” are 100% in the tank for Hillary.
The Clintons will sometimes choose the illegal route just because it is there. That decision is not a judgement. It is called criminal insanity. Taking the criminal route just because it is there.

So she has never been forth coming, but she expects an investigation into her to be forthcoming. I know she failed her bar exam the first time, but she should know that they do not have to release any info during an ongoing investigation.

hillary says she wants full disclosure but she knows that violates even more established fbi custom as well as potential privacy and national security considerations.
otoh comey can always wash his hands by recommending convening a full grand jury to the DOJ. Of course, that would set up a potential play for the DOJ to decline to prosecute but at least comey has an out.
i think hillary hopes to ride out the storm by campaigning to consolidate and energize her existing feminist, lo-fo and gimmesumdat followers. what we are witnessing is the transition of the control of the narrative from the clinton campaign to the trump campaign. clinton, trump, comey, obama, and the MSM and their respective camps all recognize this even though they might not be able to talk about it publicly. But often in these mexican standoffs, the guy with the most swagger turns out to be the eventual winner. Right now the guy with the most swagger is Trump.
Left to itself, without any more October surprises, i think Trump has the big momentum and that has been so even before Comey’s latest announcement. I sense that there will be more October Surprises but that the Clinton camp is out of ammo, orr they would have released something else to allow the MSM to go into dancing squirrel mode by now (Saturday afternoon). So Hillary’s call for transparency has the smell off desperation all over it, and the optics of a mortally wounded campaign going through its last throes.
We know from Guliana that Trump still has some ammo left, and indeed imho even if not, Trump can pick and choose from a dozen or more issues and come up with effective 30 second boilerplate ads to run in swing states in the next 7 days with his campaign cash reserves which will pick off and convert undecideds and independents— where the election battleground actually is right now— and draw them into the Trump fold. For example, Trump actually has a non-dysfunctional, loving family, while Clinton has who— Bill? Huma? Chelsea and Webb? So a Trump ad spot featuring his lovely family will pick off the undecideds and independents who hold family values paramount. Again, all the camps are or should be aware of all this, and so we may actually be now witnessing the long goodbye to Hillary by the other camps as the loser apparent of the 2016 presidential campaign. If so, as we get closer to Nov. 8, these portrayals will come into more and more clear focus.
