Why is Republican nominee Donald Trump leading in two battleground states and nearly tied in another with less than two weeks before the election? Experts, analysts, and Washington, D.C. insiders lectured the American people on how this was not supposed to happen.
According to a new poll, Trump maintains a healthy lead in Ohio over Hillary Clinton, 46 to 42 percentage points and in a Bloomberg Politics poll of Florida, Trump leads Clinton 45 to 43. In Pennsylvania, Trump continues to dwindle Clinton's lead where he is now within three points of the Democratic nominee.
Florida and Ohio are must wins for the Trump campaign, and combined with a win in Pennsylvania, Trump would more than likely be the next President of the United States.
In the most accurate poll of 2012, Trump is basically tied with Clinton nationally.
According to FiveThirtyEight, the Investor’s Business Daily/TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence poll predicted the correct outcome of that election, exposing Obama's dramatically underestimated performance and the falsehood of Romney's estimated clear victory.
At a rally in Tallahassee on Tuesday night, Trump made clear his intentions in the Sunshine State. “In 14 days we are going to win the state of Florida and we are going to win back the White House,” he declared.
“Here is the problem, even Trump has not been to VA for how long, so does this mean he has given VA up too?”
He had a rally in Virginia Beach a mere 5 days ago (it was great because the crowd heckled the CNN press crew after the speech). Mike Pence has also appeared in the Commonwealth a few times in the past month. I think CO, PA, and perhaps NH and WI are all better shots to be the state that puts him over the top than VA, but I don’t think that VA is totally out of reach for him at this point (I know too many previously Obama supporting Virginians who are now going for Trump to buy the idea that he’s already lost there).

Everywhere I go in MD seems to be in battle mode.
So many Trump signs and flags, it’s crazy...even in yards that I *know* I saw Obama signs, before.

I scored one of those big signs. hard to mount as a yard sign, but a neighbor on the frontage to the subdivision wanted to mount it in his back yard. ;-) I came up with the idea and it is holding up through wind storms. Quite a bit of traffic. Had a couple of people honk and give thumbs up while we were mounting it and several more just honk. I think those are going to be worth something someday. I am going to suggest he stores it.

Spray your signs with tanglefoot. Not only will it ruin the thief’s day it will ruin their clothes and car upholstery steering wheel and carpet if after they touch it. It is spray on fly paper. Very hard to remove from skin never mind anything else it touches.

My first Trump sign was stolen.
I smeared the second Trump sign with poison ivy.
My second Trump sign was stolen.
I filed a police report, smeared the third Trump sign with poison ivy and let the leaf cluster dangle on the sign as fair warning (ain’t I sweet?)
My thrid Trump sign is still standing.
I've only seen them from afar. They need them an attitude adjustment.
Yet CNN analysts this evening were sure she was going to win in a landslide and now it will be closer.
