The latest USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times tracking poll puts Republican nominee Donald Trump up nearly 7 points over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton as of Sunday morning — and over 20% among black voters
Trump led Clinton, 47.7% to 41.0% — his highest overall support in the poll, and the largest gap since Trump led by 7.3% during the party conventions in July.
The poll was conducted among 2,507 respondents, including over 400 who are polled every day.
In addition to increasing his lead overall, Trump continued to improve among black voters. While media outlets have tried to assure readers that Donald Trump’s trip to a black church in Flint, Michigan was a disaster, Trump’s support among African-Americans immediately skyrocketed above 19% in the poll and has stayed there for four days, hitting an all-time high of 20.1% in the poll released after midnight Sunday morning.

I think his momentum is going to do the same thing, especially in the last month. Blacks at 20% now is fantastic! I'm hoping Blacks and Hispanics realize they've just been used for votes all along and want themselves and their families have an opportunity for a better life with jobs, less government, better schools with school choice, etc.

Pretty sad, isn’t it? Fortunately, millions of blacks are waking up to that fact, which has become all the more glaring under Precedent Obama’s reign.
Just how have the lives of blacks been measurably improved by voting in a monolithic block for Democrats, for all these decades? The painful answer is, most have seen the quality of theirs, their children’s, and their grandchildren’s lives utterly demolished.
Even if they’re not ready to believe that the Democrat party is responsible for the degraded state of their communities, they must admit that voting for that party has done nothing to improve their lot.
As you said, it makes much more political sense for blacks to become a swing block. That way, the two major parties have to promise and deliver honest results which positively affect their lives. The same old, same old of gubmint handouts won’t achieve that, and the 20% who now favor Trump, know it all too well.
My wife said late last year Hillary won’t win because people won’t vote for an ugly old woman.
Obama has no confidence in his legacy so he’s trying to motivate votes for Clinton.

Caution about exit polls: they’re inaccurate.
Today’s State Duma election in Russia - main exit poll showed United Russia winning with 43%.
With 50% of raw vote in, its actual vote share is 53%.

Many people that would be considered typical Dem voters will vote for Trump and either keep it to themselves or share it with a few others.
Economics is going to be huge factor.
Good people like Dr. Carson and Sheriff Clarke have also opened so many eyes.
And hopefully you and all of us will be WINNERS on election night, as we watch Trump win.

Why? The black vote is only 12% of the population.
Its gonna get bigger. Predict 28 percent this time and 70 four years from now.

Most black people know and admire Trump too much to be swayed by the negative, non-stop hit job the press is pummeling the airwaves with. He represents competence and success, and he unabashedly loves ALL the American people.
It’s who he’s been throughout the 40 years Americans have known him. Those sterling character traits far outshine his brash swagger - but hey - what real American doesn’t appreciate a bit of swagger in an alpha leader? When you’re as accomplished as Trump is, its not bluster or an act. It’s an earned degree of real confidence.
I think blacks, like a lot of other voters, are responding favorably to that. Like Trump said, “What have you got to lose?”
Sheer brilliance and honesty on steroids.
