PHILADELPHIA (CBS) The video is disturbing. The reason behind the attack, perhaps horrifying.
He all of a sudden, without any notice throws a punch and its clear the victim never saw it coming, said Lt. Phillip Riehl of the Philadelphia Police.
Investigators say the seemingly random and unprovoked attack happened Friday evening on the 700 block of Adams Avenue in the Lawncrest section of the Northeast. The victim was 30-year-old Mardoquo Sincal Jochola. He and his brother have been in the U.S. for eight years and are from Guatemala.
Only hes my brother, said the victims brother. Now, he really leave me forever. I never see him never ever.
The victims brother, who said hes afraid to show his face while the attackers are still out there, told Eyewitness News that his brother would work landscaping jobs and while they had very little here, they did have each other. I want to go back to my country. I dont want to live here no more, he said.
Police say it was just one sucker punch to the head that killed Sincal Jochola. He stumbled, hit the ground and the group, not even waiting a moment, runs away.
Detective are now looking into if this brutal attack could be part of that knockout game, where people are unsuspectingly punched, or hit on the street. It certainly is a possibility, but regardless of what the motivation is, its still a pretty scary crime that some person could be walking down the street and be punched for no reason and killed, said Lt. Riehl.
Anyone with information on the attack is urged to call police.

Has anyone axed Colin Kaepernick for his comments?
Rats will turn this around and say that the animosity towards immigrants was stirred up by Trump.
These things are “random” as they are reported. In every single case I’m aware of it’s a young black guy punching an innocent non-black.
My liberal brother swears this game doesn’t exist. He’ll probably end up a victim of it.
I thought the “Knockout Game” didn’t exist?
Just in case there was any doubt in your mind at all, it appears that one of 0bama’s sons committed the crime.
Re: These things are random as they are reported. In every single case Im aware of its a young black guy punching an innocent non-black.
CORRECTION: These things are NOT random as they are reported.
My daughter came very close to being a victim of this. She and I were on the phone as she came out of class one evening. Suddenly she screamed. I asked what happened and she said that a girl came up and pulled her hair.
I asked if she was black and my daughter said yes.
“RUN” was my reply.
She took of and got to her car.
This was a modification of the knockout game perpetrated by a feral female.
The police obviously couldn’t do anything after the fact but were quite upset about it.

No lives matter to criminals, communists, governments, gangs, socialists, scumbags, tyrants, totalitarians. Prepare accordingly.
Condolences to family and friends of Mardoquo Jochola.

gee, you think so, Lt. Riehl...?
I am shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
(Thanks)
I watched it. The perp threw a very, very strong punch to the victim's head. Lights out.
These attacks clearly should be viewed as hate crimes, yet I don’t know if anyone has as yet been charged as such.
Of course not. Obama’s people can’t possibly hate because black.
Hey..... it’s Philly
Who gives a damn?
Yes, they found a white that punched a black somewhere. I am not kidding.
My liberal brother swears this game doesnt exist. Hell probably end up a victim of it.
This happened in the ‘80s at my high school. Some “good boy” athletes from the football & basketball teams beat up a guy for fun. He died. They went to juvenile hall for a year or whatever then went on with their lives.
