Seeing how Cruz has no interest in serving on the USSC, I’d say you’re throwing that out there in an effort to continue what should have long passed. Give it a rest, will ya?

And remember, at SCOTUS, clerks do the heavy lifting, so to be chosen is both an honor, and verification of your “creds “

One has to wonder if all these candidates gave the okay to be on this public list.
One doesn't have to do anything at all about this.

I knew Bill Pryor when he was the Attorney General of Alabama during the Fob James governorship. Great guy. I thought he was a FReeper... Don’t remember his handle.
If he’s nominated, the media will find it and distort any comments he made.
Prepare for the onslaught!

Really? Which key do I strike?

My dad clerked at the federal appellate court level out of college. He loved his justice and repeatedly said he learned more underhim than in law school.
Federalist society and others vetted names

Takes away another issue from Hillary who would campaign on liberal fears that a GOP president would nominate taliban judges
Now that the names are out there, it will be harder for them to be demonized. Criticized by liberals maybe, but not demonized
Trump again shows genius timing

Thanks to everyone who has posted info on these judges. Interesting list.

Cruz’s and his campaign’s antics not only killed his bid for President, but killed any continuing career in ANY government service job.
He won’t even run for re-election without being put on suicide watch post election rejection (again.)

I take that as a good sign, too. Trump said he would refer to the Heritage Foundation for Supreme Court considerations. I can’t even begin to examine a Justice on qualifications but I’m thankful there are those that are..

Exactly. The all-nighter research work, the BS and insight sessions with “your justice” and even highly heated debates with the other side are incredibly valuable.

I'm not a proper judge of these issues either. The Twittersphere is still, I think, evaluating the names. Nothing negative so far.
But Justice Willett from Texas is apparently the Second Coming of Antonin Scalia.
I mean people LOVE that possibility.
