Police say actor Wendell Pierce has been arrested at an Atlanta hotel where he was a guest.
Atlanta Police Department spokesman Donald Hannah says in a statement that Pierce was arrested early Saturday morning at the Loews Atlanta Hotel.
New Orleans native Pierce is known for his television roles as Detective William "Bunk" Moreland on The Wire and Antoine Batiste on Treme.
TMZ earlier reported that Pierce allegedly got into a physical altercation with a man and woman, reportedly a couple, at the hotel after a political dispute. Citing hotel sources, TMZ reports that Pierce, an avowed Hillary Clinton supporter, became upset when the woman declared her support for Bernie Sanders. Pierce is alleged to have pushed the man and grabbed the hair of the woman and smacked her in the head. TMZ reports that the couple then called the police.

For democrats - there is plenty of freedom of speech. But only if you agree with the annointed ones.

Bunk,
Your skills at covering up crimes has been eroding. Next time talk with your old partner Jimmy McNulty. He was always better at covering up the crime than you.

Sort of the same vein of the San Bernardino, where the Muslim killer came back to kill a man who had said that Islam was a violent religion. EUREKA.
Now Wendell Pierce beats up a woman for the pro-woman candidate Hillary.
The defense rests.

Wendell is scheduled to receive an honorary degree and give the commencement speech at Rutgers-Newark's graduation ceremony on Wednesday. (Obama gave main Rutgers graduation commencement speech yesterday.)
Since he was punching for Hillary, I expect those plans will remain unchanged. It's not like he's for Trump or something unforgivable like that!

Can’t be true.
We have been told since the Chicago/LA/SF riots against Trump, only Trumpette/r Supporters are violent.
We need to go to Costco to buy a carload of popcorn as this is rapidly becoming the best Presidential election in my 7+ decade lifetime.
