Dr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trump’s closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. (Read more at source)

Sarah’s not a god, and I don’t worship her, though I do love and appreciate her very much.
Facts is facts. The media has been successful in creating a negative opinion of her in the minds of much of the public. More-so than perhaps any major Republican figure.
Why? Because Sarah represented one of the gravest threats to the left-wing establishment in generations. More firepower was brought to bear against her and her family, than any politician in living memory. I’m not sure that a more concerted effort has ever been mounted to bring down a single politician in American history.
And it worked.
The only way that Sarah can overcome that smear campaign, is to serve with distinction for four years or more in the Trump administration. That’s what it’s going to take to put the lie to all of the character assassination, and restore her good name to all those who bought in to it.
So preparing for a Trump AND A NEWT is like being thrown into the fires of hell.
She simply can't compete. She has nothing. All she has is kill the babies and dish out the benies to 47% of the people.

Where does Trump’s tweet indicate that Sarah is still under consideration? The message is too vague to infer anything, except that Rubio is definitely OUT of consideration.
Alright then. The tweet clearly states that Sarah Palin is still under consideration to be Trump’s running mate.

Just indicated to me and a handful of other FReepers that SP is still on the short list of DJT possible running mates...
I have no idea how you're reading that into Trump's message. It only said that Rubio and most others mentioned, are not on the list.
Hey, it's fine with me if you want to hold out hope that Trump will name Sarah as his running mate. You don't need my permission or approval.
