Newt Gingrich went on with Sean Hannity tonight after the Donald Trumps Indiana blowout and after Ted Cruz suspended his campaign.
Newt argued that Donald Trump could be the the most effective anti-left leader in our lifetime.
Newt added that anyone who does not support Trump is supporting Hillary.
First of all, Donald Trump may turn out to be the most effective anti-left leader in our lifetime. He is against political correctness. He is against bureaucracy. He places American nationalism first which I think we desperately need. Im tired of being told we have to phony agreements and phony efforts and I watch John Kerry rush from five-star hotel to five-star hotel trying to get a phony peace agreement that is an absurdity
I think Trump could be a return to a more of an Eisenhower kind of realism that none-the-less is conservatism. And he may do more to dismantle the left than anybody in our lifetime
The other side is, if youre not for Donald Trump, youre effectively for Hillary Clinton.
Working to be VP??
OK with me.
Ping!

This is why it is worth it to support Trump, even if you don't think he is conservative enough. We will never make real progress no matter who we elect, if we keep giving the opposition trillions of dollars in which to spend fighting us. Trump wants to cut off the ruling class at the source of their funding. If he does that, the rest of the battles become vastly easier.

That was very, very, well said.
“How do you write an executive order that stops ‘political correctness?’”
By not funding universities that have speech codes
By requiring universities abolish inclusion officers
By abolishing race based admissions
By refusing to use PC terms
These areas would be a good start and all but the last would require governmental action
Best summary of the night!
Semantics have played such a large part in the degree to which the Progressive movement has dominated and controlled political discourse, academia, and what passes for "education" of America's youth.
No one in politics has been able to capture the attention of citizens and to expose the real tyranny of "political correctness" and its consequences in the society--until Trump.
The first words of the Preamble of our Constitution are, We, the People. . . ." It is time for "the People" to reclaim those words, and to use them proudly, as they impose their will on those who represent them in government.
Me too.
VP, or any number of other positions.
Newt gets it.
This is why Trump is so popular.
Most people don't give a crap about purist Conservatism. But they DO care about somebody, ANYBODY, fighting back against Liberal madness.
Non-Liberals have been getting kicked in the teeth by the Liberal movement and anti-Americanism for decades.
The Republican party has very clearly demonstrated that they don't think that's a problem.
The voters think otherwise.
Perfect. Yes. ^^^ THIS ^^^
Gingrich is right. Conservatives often confuse purity with effectiveness. Trump is the kind of candidate that doesn’t fear anyone and he is seldom made to back down which is exactly what is needed to stop the left. I’ve never looked at him as the most conservative in the race but he is without a doubt the equivalent of a bulldozer breaking through the gates of power. He is a vessel of a revolution and Conservatives should see him for the opportunity that he is instead of feeding on the hate of their imaginary straw Trumps they’ve created in their minds which are built of cherry picked negatives.
That will end his campaign!

Political correctness wasn’t created by any President. Just like Obama and Bernie, it came from left-wing activists. The extremes of political correctness being created and expanded on college campuses to this day are too crazy for any politician to have ever come up with, like 47 different genders or whatever it is.
I don’t see political correctness as the driving force for amnesty. It’s Democrats who want the votes and some Republicans who want the cheap labor. Political correctness could be non-existent and the amnesty issue would still be the same.
How do you fight something with nothing? If you’re not a conservative, why do you oppose liberalism?
Caving in on transsexuals in your beauty pageant and in the opposite sex restrooms doesn’t look like fighting against liberal madness to me.
Which liberal dragons are going to be slayed after 4 years of Trump in office specifically? I’m still trying to figure out what I would get out of this presidency. I understand stopping Hillary from nominating even more liberal judges, I understand cutting taxes, the basics I get with any Republican, but what other current liberalism is going to actually be rolled back?
