SO RIGHT! Both had absent fathers and dysfunctional childhoods. Both Harvard trained mouthpieces. Both Foreign born...at least we KNOW CRuz was! Cuts are necessary and this cut makes sense. Someone dies and their benefit continues to be paid to their spouse? That's ridiculous.
The money that was put in there for that purpose has already been spent on other things (by people you may have voted for).
You are now collecting money that is being taken out of MY paycheck.

social security was a ponzi scheme when FDR inflicted it upon the country 80 years ago.
From the sounds of things, by the time you get old enough to get any benefits, they will be gone, better start working more than 5 jobs a day to make sure you live in a box and not out on the street!!!
That's right. It gets rid of some of the tricks people would play. Most people don't even know about them. Financial planners are always touting them. Has no impact on most people.
