Rush is now justifying the system. How would we get a nominee if the delegates were all bound forever to their home state? Now talking about the 2000 election and how if it had gone to the House (repubs) it would have been Bush and there would have been calls about CHEATING!!

I hear ya, but this whole Delegates and Super Delegates scam really bites! From the casual observer it just sounds, looks, smells, .....like a SCAM!
Now Rush is dissembling and trying to confuse the issue further. Delegate slots are won by several different methods, and candidates do win specific numbers of delegates by virtual of the primary votes.
What Cruz doing is working to have disloyal delegates assigned to the slots Trump specifically won, disloyal delegates who will abandon Trump after the first ballot.
And pathetic, unprincipled, dishonest and disgusting POS Limbaugh will not acknowledge that fact.
That’s why the terms “Trojan Horse Delegates” and “Double Agent Delegates” have been used to describe what Cruz and other Trump haters in the GOP are doing.

The fallacy in Rush’s argument regarding the 2nd ballot delegates is that Trump’s delegates will leave him, but Cruz’s delegates will stay with him.
What-if-ery: The Cruz and/or Kasich and/or Rubio delegates decide to go with a winner and switch over to Trump and Trump ends up with 1400 delegates.
Until the next few primaries are over, everyone can play the what-if-ery game every day.

I've practically quit listening to Rush, but often follow this thread. Listened today to see if anything had changed and it has only gotten worse. Turned him off and switched to Kuhner on RKO.

In a way Trump paved the way for Cruz to steal by having demolished other GOPe candidates.

The idea there is no cheating going is crazy. The whole point of Kasich and Cruz teaming up is so that Trump can't get 1237, so that the first ballot doesn't matter and the binding is off the double agent.
