There is a very, very clear perception that Cruz is cheating. To continue citing “rules” doesn’t change a perception. Why not try to actually find a way to win without giving off the percetpion, say by winning an election.
Now he’s saying “nobody is being cheated”
Well Rush does have a long history of mocking “fairness” as if it were some plot by the Left and not, oh, a fundamental concept basic to Western civilization....
Perhaps this is why Rush is venturing out into ice tea and book sales?

That's true, but El Rushbo and many others refuse to look behind the rules and make a judgment of right and wrong about what is actually being done: assigning disloyal delegates to the winner of specific delegate slots.
Rush looks like a fool and a monumental hypocrite to me by refusing to look beyond "the rules" and make a moral evaluation about what's actually being done. Unprincipled Rush.

Just listened to Rush and after 15 minutes I couldn’t take it anymore. He’s twisting, and turning, and bending to try to “justify” the R delegate scam! How in the world do the Cruz supporters (Rush included) can possibly think that Cruz would NOT win in November is beyond me! If Cruz some how managed to take the nomination on a 2nd or 3rd ballots and he would lose a tremendous amount of support that he’d be lucky to get 40% in the national election! If you’re really a Cruz supporter- do you really want to see “your” guy lose to Hillary in November ‘16? A better case scenario for (disgruntled) Cruz supporters would be to see Trump lose to Hillary in November and then Cruz would be THE... “R” candidate in 2020!

I wish someone would call and ask if regular Republican voters with jobs and families should have to spend hours, if not days, at caucus after caucus to make sure that their will is expressed in the delegate selection. The sane answer of course is no.
Only party apparatchiks have that kind of time to devote to politics, which is why some of these states (CO, WY) have gone to that type of system.

If you go to a doctor, you don’t expect to have to learn all the nitty-gritty of your problem, you just expect him to fix it. Same with the GOP party, we shouldn’t have to watch every move they make. We might as well be Democrats.

Look, it comes down to this: we (the leaders, the GOP, even the Dems) everyone has been saying for 50 years we “need to get the voters more involved.”
This was the purpose of primaries.
