Rush is now justifying the system. How would we get a nominee if the delegates were all bound forever to their home state? Now talking about the 2000 election and how if it had gone to the House (repubs) it would have been Bush and there would have been calls about CHEATING!!
Now he is continuing justifying the system now and how we are all misunderstanding it. The delegates are up for grabs and candidates should go for them. It has always been this way.
He is justifying Cruz seeking to secure support for a 2nd or 3rd ballot. He says they are not trying to monkey with the 1st ballot.

Then he went to explain the pretzel logic that shows how Cruz stealing those delegates is not cheating. And we have caller Myra backing him up.

He was able to explain that the people DO understand that the rules are there and what they are...but the people are disdaining them as part of the whole power elite structure that needs to be dealt with.
