Several political figures have already poked their noses into the issue. Most say that if the allegations are indeed untrue, the Republican presidential candidate should have filed a case already.
On Monday, former Governor Mike Huckabee said that if the senator wants to fight these latest accusations about him, he should start by suing the publication. The governor even cited the lawsuit between Gawker and former WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan adding, "I think hes got a terrific opportunity to file the lawsuit. And, thats the way to fight some of this stuff."

A simple yes or no answer to the direct question could have ended this, but Ted hid behind Carly’s skirt because Heidi wouldn’t stand by him.
They really have no clue about how to get things done, do they?
Too bad that Cruz didn’t learn from Clinton that the lies and coverup are worse than the sins alone.
Can’t wait until he starts wagging his finger. LOL
With the John Edwards story, the Pulitzer Prize “folks” voted that the National Enquirer is now recognized as “Legit” to be able to win an award from them.
The lead writer of the Edwards expose was considered for a Pulitzer for his reporting on the Edwards story.
(OBTW... the lead writer on the Cruz expose??.....appears to be SAME GUY....)
She has stated she did not have an affair with Cruz.
I believe she made that statement right after the story broke.
I go way back with the Enquirer, and it’s record for most of it’s existence has been very shady.
However, they do get it right once in a while.
No matter what they are, if they get it right and it’s a big enough story, they deserve consideration IMO.
This will play out. I had not realized it was the same guy. Interesting...
Sorry, when did presidential campaigns get reduced to lawsuits? Oh, since the Advent of Trump.
Guess I missed that. Or wish I had.
If you believe that, and him, mortgage your home; send all the money to Cruz to finance his lawsuit.
Well see how it plays out.
I know what you hope for. Frankly, I hope you turn out to be right. It is still a scandal.
The person with the morals problem is Cruz. He refuses to say “I HAVE NEVER CHEATED ON WIFE!!!”. A person who has never cheated would have NO problem saying that. But again and again Cruz declares to the world: “IT’S TRUMPS HENCHMEN!” Only a lowlife would humiliate his wife like that.
That is my very distressing concern.
He hasn’t been able to come out and say: I have not “enter the concern here.”
See my post #29.
I don’t know how this all turns out. Her denial doesn’t make it so either. I take her at her word until something reveals otherwise, but there are clear reasons why not to admit to this sort of thing.
This guy got it right the last time. I suspect he didn’t print this stuff without some sort of evidence or inside source behind it.
None of us knows right now.
This gossip rag got it right on Gary Hart, this very same topic.
Nobody can completely ignore it.
You may want them too, but that isn’t realistic.
Personally, I’m thankful that Ted Cruz isn’t giving this more attention by filing a lawsuit. it will pass and he’ll continue to do well.
