Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.
'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'
The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.
Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.
But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

It is bewildering that people don’t see it. And not just with this subject.

Being together they both now have Carly to shield them from the tough questions. Ted did not want to chance having his wife alone out in New Jersey to answer the reporters questions.

I didn’t like this movie the first time around, and I hate the sequel even more.
It isn’t the affairs, it is the lying about them!
He isn’t running as the second coming of Moses-Cruz is.
so why couldn’t he just say he never had cheated on his wife?
If this is true we need to know. If he is a lying snake in the grass he has no business anywhere near the White House. This is corruption pure and simple.

I find it so curious that these cruzbots are in a fury and always resort to the same old tired one liners. All the while claiming that anyone who is for Trump is a blind follower....such irony.
Cruz is going to push his poor little me act too far, and when the next shoe drops, it’s going to get ugly.
A CLEAR ,CONCISE statement that he is faithful would do a great deal to put the burden of proof on his accusers.
To me, the hypocrisy is the story. Cruz followers that were painting him as so much moral than Trump did not do him any favors either. I think Cruz encouraged that reputation.
