IT WAS NOT A TED CRUZ SUPER PAC... IT IS ANTI-TRUMP... Their goal is to stop trump....Their tactic at this point was to say vote Ted Cruz... TED CRUZ had nothing to do with that pac, and by law has no communication with them, or control over them.

Logic is not the friend of the Cruz dead-enders. If they don’t care that Cruz sides with leftist BLM rioters, if all the litany of terrible connections he has, etc.. etc... if none of that mattered, this doesn’t either. They simply hate Donald Trump at this point, nothing else matters.
If even one of the affairs turns out to be true, there will still be people here reposting TedState articles about how good Christians have an obligation to write-in Ted Cruz, and a not-insignificant amount of people would probably still do just that, and blame Donald Trump for the whole scandal.
I think we should take the Duggar approach and blame Heidi for his indiscretions.

It doesn’t matter if it’s false. The only thing that matters is whether the NE KNEW it to be false when they published it. That’s the standard of “actual malice” and people should educate themselves so we know is going on. This is why Trump said the defamation laws should be changed, but as it is, as long as the NE has done diligence and believes the story to be true, they are free and clear and there’s no legal liability for defamation.

You can’t sue because someone reported a rumor. NE has not reported this as fact.
This benefits the brokered convention people the most.
Cruz & Trump working together can beat the establishment.
Separately they get beat by the establishment.
The Melania ad was not sent out by the Cruz campaign (perhaps Jeff Roe obtained the photo per GQ).
It was Liz Mair backers who want a brokered convention.
Trump supporters felt it should have been denounced by Cruz. Cruz let it go to get whatever juice he could get from it, then denounced it after the election. (Sounds like Iowa, no?)
Had Cruz denounced it rather than waiting 3 days, we might be in a different place right now. Not a criticism but an observation.
Trump’s girls, are his soft spot. His adversaries know this. They knew he would react this way about Melania ad. Now Cruz and Trump are fighting....that is what they want.
The Machiavellis behind the scenes, know the players and expect them to act, the way they always do and use that against them to their ends.
It is playing out in front of us.

It is the hypocrisy which makes this so terrible. Cruz has been conning his own supporters for a long time that he is a principled conservative Christian...he carries his Bible everywhere but, he is a man of the world...not of God.
I feel sorry for his supporters who I know the vast majority are very good people, we get heated from the competition but these are our brothers and sisters we are talking about. As the phony façade that is Ted Cruz falls away and they see him for what he really is, they are going to be heartbroken. So, at some point soon we need to offer a shoulder to cry on, to not rub it in their face and to understand the loss they truly are going to feel.
