Major questions are being raised tonight about Utah Republican Presidential Primary. With 40 delegates, the state's "winner take all" election process makes this a critical night for Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), if he wishes to fight conservative businessman Donald J. Trump all the way to the RNC convention in Cleveland, Ohio this summer.
But now, MAJOR questions are being raised about Utah's very unusual internet-based voting process.
A bombshell report shows that the technology to conduct web-based voting comes from Smartmatic Group, which is based in England. Currently, the chairman of Smartmatic is Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, who also is on the board of billionaire liberal GEORGE SOROS' Open Society Foundation and has personal ties to the billionaire.
More than a half-million dollars have been donated to Ohio Governor John Kasich's Super PAC from Soros-related hedge fund managers.
The Wall Street Journal reports this as "one of the biggest online votes conducted so far in the U.S." In addition:
Utah residents will have the option of casting ballots in the Republican presidential contest using computers, tablets, and smartphones next week. …
Online "polls" will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 11 p.m. on March 22. Voters will get a receipt that will verify that their vote was recorded correctly. The state party declined to release the number of online voter registrations that it has received. …
"We expect all the jurisdictions across the U.S. to take notice and to look at this experience as something to study and, hopefully, follow," said Antonio Mugica, founder and chief executive of Smartmatic Group, an election-equipment vendor that is running the Utah election.
Mugica tried to address online voting concerns, noting that the company has "security protocols" and backups of data in case of recounts. But as internet hackers know, no web-based server is truly secure. (Just ask Hillary Clinton!)

I was at my neighborhood caucus and I knew around 75% of the over 200 people there. Trump got 4 votes. FOUR. I was one of the four. I watched the count. Cruz did win Utah.
The strangest thing about the online voting is they talked about it for weeks and now I can’t find any info on the online voting results. How many voted and what breakdown for online only? Why isn’t that info easy to find?
Do any Utah freepers have that basic info?

Republicans had to register by March 15th to be able to vote online on March 22nd. I have heard the numbers 30,000 or 40,000 or 59,000 registered to vote online. But, they could still choose to caucus instead, but not do both.
How many that registered actually voted online? How many online votes did each candidate get? Computers can count really well. Why no data? Are they hiding something?
I's say the answer to that is yes, otherwise, why would they refuse to release those numbers. In fact they should be compelled to release those numbers.
Polls showed Cruz wiining big in Utah. This was before he was endorsed by Sen. Lee, Mia Love and Mitt Romney.
And before the blabbermouth brilliantly insulted Romney and question his faith. No I was not surprised to see Trump get schlonged in Provo.. Not at all..
And if Trump keeps insulting everyone from Megyn, Carly Fiorina, and now Heidi, you can bet he won’t be on the GOP ticket.
Then there’s the chance that Anonymous’ anti-Trump hacking campaign was involved to promote Cruz.
