I agree, though, that I would prefer someone who was pragmatic and allowed people to practice, recognize our Christians heritage, but not overlay it with government.

It’s a slippery slope and we don’t need that.

At this point, Evangelicals have realized that they have to vote not so much for someone who lives like they do but someone who will defend their right to live as they do.

It would not surprise me of Beck did take up snakes. There was a realty show with a snake handling preacher. It ended after he died from a snake bite. Actually the preacher was very likable unlike Beck.
