ed Cruz will grab an upset win over Donald Trump in Arizona's presidential primary election on Tuesday, as he's the "only candidate with any kind of organization out here," a close confidant of Sen. John McCain predicts.

"They have him positioned to spring the upset," Kurt Davis, a GOP operative in Arizona, told The Hill. "They just have to deliver."

Let’s see you two geniuses dispute this...

We went to two authoritative databases of campaign finance data to examine Ferguson’s numbers: OpenSecrets.org, to find federal donations, and FollowtheMoney.org, for state-level donations.

Trump has actually been relatively evenhanded in doling out cash to the two parties, but since 1989, he’s contributed over $350,000 more to Republicans running for federal and state offices, campaign finance records show.

Data from the Federal Election Commission and state elections offices provided by the two websites show that Trump has given $584,850 to Democrats and $961,140 to the GOP over the last 26 years.

Are snide remarks about McCain allowed?

I would say no, but unfortunately the only comments about McCain that I know are snide. I on't think there are any other kind.

Cruz wants to get rid of the IRS with his VAT Tax.

If you understand VAT, you would know that he will need many more tax collectors if implemented!

This is a Ted Cruz thread. Trumpette snide comments to a minimum please.

Right, because Cruzbots honor that "rule"?

BTW, that's the first time I ever used the term "Cruzbot", and I did it because of your snide use of the term "Trumpette", literally in the middle of your appeal for decorum.

What hypocrisy...

I am glad you think I am smart.

We can agree on that like we can agree that Cruz has donated $0 to the dems.

So which is worse donating to the dems or getting some random positive comment from someone?

Your negativity is not helping Trump. It is very off putting. You tried to insult me personally by your comment. Have I personally attacked you? The answer is no.

Why do you feel threatened enough to attack me personally? Is it that you feel Trump is weak?

It’s that “Mormon prophesy” thing.

Don’t expect it to spread.

“Cruz wants to get rid of the IRS with his VAT Tax.

Yeah, I guess I forgot about that.

And I never believed he’d be able to actually ‘get rid of the IRS’, but it’s nice to hear someone proposing it.

Does rhat mean that cruz has the TX/NM/AZ/CA illegal votes all locked in?

Maybe in the primaries. In the general, all of those illegals are money in the bank for the dems and hillary.

McCain adviser, eh? He went wrong somewhere because he couldn’t advise McCain to a win.

I think Ted will win Utah because it’s a caucus, and the Mormons might listen to Romney, even though he actually dissed Ted with his endorsement. Trump should win Arizona, though. The lib protests only help him I think.

If they stick to the rules, Cruz and Trump will be the only ones allowed to compete at the convention for the nomination, with majority of delegates in 8 states (Cruz is pretty likely to make it to 8 or 9 with Kasich in, many more with Kasich out). Even if they roll back the requirement to 5 which it was before, they’ll still be the only ones.

I had not noticed any increased civility on ANY Cruz threads.

There is a bit more civility on the Trump threads because theTrump followers have driven most of the Cruz supporters straight off Free Republic with their non-stop moderator condoned nastiness.
