BREAKING: Mitt Romney endorses Ted Cruz for President in all remaining primaries

This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.

Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.

The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.

I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.

I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.

If I told you Don Trump's inner campaign circle on National Security and Foreign Policy coming into formation is comprised of establishment CFR policy-types, would you condemn it or back off on your support of Trump? Or are you so welded-at-the hip that he could do nothing to alienate you?

Romney, along with the whole Washington DC establishment is the enemy, how anyone could fall for this garbage is unreal.

Sanders supporters cheer that they cancelled a Trump rally while threatening violence on conservatives, a trend you see elsewhere with shutting down conservative speakers on college and Black Lives Matter protesters assaulting whites who don’t virtue signal correctly.
And the Republican elites blame the victim who receives death threats on Twitter and social media regularly.

They are trying to regain the ground that TRUMP has moved from under them and restore the Establishment through purchasing Cruz.

Perhaps more important they are trying to drive us out of the party.

Exactly, Cruz would gain my respect if he started disavowing these endorsements from the establishment and stating that he does not need nor want endorsements from those that caused the mess we are in.

But.. he won’t.

He’s a team player now, or so they have convinced him.
