BREAKING: Mitt Romney endorses Ted Cruz for President in all remaining primaries
Facebook ^

Posted on 03/18/2016 12:48:55 PM PDT by springwater13

This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.

Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.

The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.

I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.

I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.

You are not alone.

I believe Cruz can beat Hillary, but if Hillary gets indicted and a Biden-Warren ticket takes over, then I’m not so sure.

Cruz is the real deal and one of the last hopes for this country. Trump is just another version of Hope and Change.
Trumpsters are going to be severely disappointed once he gets in power.

“Carly, Glenn Beck, Graham, Rubio, soon probably McCain and Jeb, NOW MITT, all for Cruz now.
Lindsey will be holding a fund raiser for Ted on Monday night. Given all the vile and filthy things Graham said about Cruz, it appears that the Texas senator will lie down in bed with ANYONE as long as there's money piled high under the mattress.

If all this doesn't say something about Cruz's character, nothing will.

You can just surmise who Graham's donors are and you'll be correct....McManiacs, lobbyists and RINO PACS who are lining up at Graham's command to throw big money at Cruz....and Cruz will then be in Graham's and the donors’ vice-like grasp forever.”
Leni

You said it, Leni! I had a lot to learn about Cruz as I was fooled too, thinking early on that he was an “outsider”. I have learned a great deal about the background of Cruz and his associates, and watching him through this Primary Season has shown over and over again just how “Establishment” he really is!

I hope the voters of Utah notice this, like those in Arizona have and realize Donald Trump is the REAL “outsider” and on top of that Trump CAN WIN against whomever the Dems put up!

If hillary truly loves this country she would drop out now since half of the population completely despising her.
Since Cruz also truly loves this country he should also drop out now that the establishment is rooting for him.

Yea, i just took a hit of LSD..

They are working together.

Cruz has no ability to beat Trump, and the Gope has no more candidates.

They are on the same team, period. For no other purpose than to stop the most popular candidate in the race, because popularity = evil.

Two sh*tty sides of the same coin.

Cruz’s appeal beyond his base is 0. How do you win an election that way?

He has ONE (1) colleague, now two (2), to endorse him. Both Romney and Graham are supporting him ONLY because he is the last one standing who can bloc Trump.

Once he’s achieved that, if he can, Cruz will be thrown overboard because his new support team knows good and well how limited his ability to win a nationwide general election really is.

Well if Trump wins Cruz will have to lie in bed with him....so using your logic he should never support Trump based on all the nasty vile things Trump has said.
