BREAKING: Mitt Romney endorses Ted Cruz for President in all remaining primaries

This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.
Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.
The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.
I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.
I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.

Being an Arizonan LDS guy, I saw through Romney four years ago in the primary and voted for Santorum. Mitt is a disgrace. How he could believe in abortion and still believe in the principles of the Church (pro-life) is a mystery to me. I received a call about an hour ago from an LDS friend saying they’ve switched their support from Cruz to Trump.
Cruz, you reap what you sow.

Mitt Romney is the crumpled icon of a fading era, courting madness in the twilight of public life.

Rubio said he regretted the personal attacks on Trump based on the size of his junk, you seem to be a bit more fixated on that sort of thing.
Consider some counseling.

Trump's man Dan Scavino is now tweeting out comments that ordinary folks have left on Mitt Romney's Facebook post.
Romney is getting skewered.
The man has let himself become a laughingstock.
I cannot believe he expected this blowback when he waded into the primary uninvited.
Romney has sacrificed his reputation, his standing in the party, and his dignity to this ridiculous "never" movement. The sad part is that he's going to have to walk all this sht back.

Romney understands the delegate math, which is more than can be said for all of the analysts on TV and John Kasich.

Poor TC. He had a window to make a deal. I’m pretty sure that this closed it.

I just posted earlier today that Cruz needed to move quickly to seal himself a viable future either on the Court or with an Executive Branch job from which he could launch a future Presidential run.
Once Trump consolidates the party, he's not going to waste political capital on an unpopular and only marginally effective Senator.
You're right, the window is closing quickly. Tick tock.
Mitt’s stretching it by including racism, bigotry and xenophobia. But otherwise, yeah.
To: PJBankard
Haha....blame it on Beck.

“1) do you honestly believe the GOPe would let Cruz be the nominee? “
No, and I said as much on the very first post. They would try everything in their power to stop either Trump or Cruz.
W/R/T Trump, their fears are reasonable; Trump is a lifetime Democrat and liberal who only recently plays conservative on TV.

Yep, Beck was the beginning of the end for Cruz. Cruz was the one who tied that knot.
