Jeb Bush is meeting with the three Republican presidential candidates seeking to take down front-runner Donald Trump before Thursday's GOP debate, according to a new report.
Bush is huddling with Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Ohio Gov. John Kasich before the Miami debate, The New York Times reported Wednesday.
The former Florida governor repeatedly clashed with Trump during his own GOP presidential campaign, which ended late last month after disappointing results in early-voting states.
Bush is meeting Rubio on Wednesday and speaking with Cruz and Kasich on Thursday before the debate.
It's unclear whether Bush will endorse a candidate before March 15, when both Ohio and Florida vote in winner-take-all primaries, the Times said.

Anyone still think Cruz is NOT with the Establishment?
No tie this time. What’s holding the foreskin down?
Anyone still think Cruz is NOT with the Establishment
Yep....the kool-aid (fool-aid) drinkers.
LOL!
Come on! You want him to stay away? Rubio should drop out. So should Kasich. Shouldn’t Cruz look into that? It might be good for the Donald to continue to attract riots up to the convention so that Cruz wins BARELY.
I commented to a Freeper here recently about his/her use of the words “filthy lucre” and how I’d not seen that in a long time.
To me, this is what’s here, right now this day this time. People we once may have thought who had our back and were with us, but not - really. FILTHY LUCRE.
FILTHY LUCRE, whether it be advancement, promotion, wealth, power or influence.
The truth of it is that you cannot trust any of them. They had to have some kind of screw loose or obsession or some irrepressible drive to get them in a position that could be their gain yet somehow our downfall.
Me? I’m looking now only to motives and what’s to gain.
LOL!
I hope you are here all week.
Cruz has clearly jumped on board The Cheap Labor Express.
Whether he was a deep cover candidate all along or if he’s just opportunistic, I don’t know.
Bush should hold his secret meeting on Shutter Island’s lighthouse. /s
I noticed Jeb has not endorsed anyone. Could it be that the endorsement of a guy spending 130 million dollars to win a whopping 3% share is the definition of irrelevant? I think all the candidates are best served staying far away from the kiss of death by this establishment leper.
Does it really matter whether it is deception or naked ambition. Either will cause a person to betray his compatriots.
Can’t wait for Conservative, Inc. to breathlessly announce how the guy who got 2% of the vote after spending $150 million is going to turn the tide for loser Kasic, Rubio or Cruz.
Jeb!: "I am your father!"
Cruz: "That's impossible! ...Or maybe not. That would mean I have TWO American parents and help shut up those birthers. I'm all in Dad!"
Rubio said minutes ago when asked by a reporter about his GOP pledge to support the candidate chosen by the people and would he support Trump:
“I don’t know.”
"Cheers."
He has to get permission from Ted and Bush before he can make a statement. He can’t make a move without their approval....at this point Rubio is only a space-filler to help the GOPe elect Ted Cruz. Wake up people, Ted is one of them.
