The New York Times leaked off-the-record conversation with Donald Trump in January recently to Buzzfeed. Buzzfeeds editor in chief Ben Smith wrote this week that Mr. Trump reportedly told the NY Times that his extreme position on deporting immigrants was fluid and developing.
Senator Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio lashed out at Trump and immediately demanded that Donald Trump order the release of the off-the-record conversation.

According to the Freedom Information Act, a reporter or journalist doesn't have to release any contacts of information that could put the reporter, journalist or the person with the information in jeopardy....hence the ruling on James Rosen from Fox News Network...
But if Trump; Cruz; Rubio says that the information is ‘off the record’ then no one can release that information and Trump; Cruz or Rubio could sue the paper that did release the information...
This is what Trump is talking about with the ‘libel’ in his speeches, he's putting these people on notice, obey the laws or I will sue, as can any one else....

Trump should refuse to go back on a Fox debate as long as bloody Megyn is part of it. Her role as moderator was to ask questions, not grill a candidate and state her personal opinions about an on-going civil lawsuit and then side with everything butt-boy Rubio said about Trump University. Her blabbing away for 20 minutes about a nothing lawsuit and ignoring the real problems facing this country was proof positive she was once again Fox’s designated Trump destroyer. It was also unethical. She’s not a lawyer working for Fox News. She also gave Cruz a pass every time he refused to answer a question and would let him go on and on about Trump giving money to Hillary Clinton, when it had nothing to do with the question asked. Case in point was her asking him why Jeff Sessions endorsed Trump and not him. He refused to answer it, immediately going on a rant about Trump. She did not follow up with Cruz and ask him to please answer the question. She let the fellow lawyer get by with his constant filibustering and changing the subject to avoid answering the question.

No media outlet in the country is going to be able to argue “reporter confidentiality” in court after this. :)

Thought this was an interesting bit of information about Bill Bright's ministry:
Campus Crusade for Christ Changes Name, Losing 'Crusade' and 'Christ' (from abc news, July, 2011: )
Campus Crusade is now simply CRU: Critics are accusing the 60-year-old ministry of giving in to political correctness in a ploy to attract more supporters and donors, but the people behind the name change say that politics had nothing to do with the decision.

It appears Campus Crusade’s new name reflects its Christian integrity...
In 2011, Campus Crusade for Christ in the United States changed its name to Cru, a shortening of “Crusade”, since many members already refer to it as Cru for short, and also due partially to avoiding the negative connotation of crusade from the historical Crusades (particularly to Muslim communities) and that much of the organization’s work was no longer limited to college campuses.

The last thing dying newspapers need is a public that’s afraid to talk on background... and off the record.
The New York Times has hurt the Publishing Industry enough... this was horrible. Shame on them.

Looks like that is what they were up to. You cannot trust anything these outlets put out.
