The strategy is for Cruz, Rubio and Kasich to win their home states Any loser drops out. To take this to a brokered convention Florida and OHio cannot go Trump. Otherwise momentum and time favors Trump. If Rubio wins Florida and Kasich loses Ohio then Rubio is the GOPe candidate. If Kasich wins Ohio and Rubio loses Florida then Kasich is their last hope.
Cruz could win Texas and Kasich and Rubio lose but they will still not back Cruz. Romney will jump into the race to be the party savior hoping he can win enough of the remaining states to go to a brokered convention. The other alternative is to get Romney on enough state ballots as an indecent in the general election to ensure Hillary wins. In any scenario this is the end of the Republican Party if they do not support Trump if he is the leader going into the convention.

My son is a medical courier so he drives all day long, along with his employees who cover a lot of territory. This is in NE Ohio, the areas east of Cleveland.
We have a standing Saturday morning phone call, because he starts so early and I’m just getting home from my graveyard shift.
I talked to him 2 hrs ago and he called me again, to tell me the only presidential primary signs he saw this morning were brand new (new to him, remember this is familiar territory for him) signs posted outside residences.....were for Trump.
Very giddy, next gen GOP...30 yrs old :)

Nope. I’m in Ohio and both my husband and I are surrounded by union members. Kasich didn’t do right to work properly and got clobbered by it. Now all the Dem unionistas will be voting for Trump. They like Trump even though he’s on the Rep ticket because he’s Hillary who wants to build a wall.
Yep. My son operates in the Euclid, Willowick, Mentor areas. Lake & Geauga county, diverse to the west, more white to the east, but union members all.
He would agree with your assessment. He has only seen Trump signs displayed. These voters are mad, saying they’ve been sold down the river.

Kasich cannot even shepard right to work through Ohio, so how in hell can he defeat Trump in Ohio?
