That's significant because Cruz has been lashing out in questionable ways at both Trump and Rubio. I could envision it leading to a Trump/Rubio ticket.
Cruz is going to be lucky to come in second in S. C.
Of course what does he care? He claimed he won with third place in New Hampshire.
Well, using his standard, he’s about to make a big sweep on Super Tuesday, second, third, and fourth places.
But but but the Wall Street Journal poll said Cruz was ahead.
You can bet your bottom dollar that every poll will be made to look like Rubio is rising. It will be the theme moving forward. He’s the only one that everyone can coalesce around.
Maybe he's gathering the Bush defectors. Something is going on with this guy.
Trump is a liberal. Other than flipping “the establishment” the bird, why do you want him to be POTUS? If you think he’ll deport 11M illegals ( or even wants to in light of his past remarks) it won’t happen - any more than the lib pipe dream that somehow 600M guns will be confiscated.
Trump should have run as a Democrat.
If you want an anti establishment liberal, vote for Sanders.

For those paying attention, the term “Conservative” has clearly become the new establishment buzz word in attempts to discredit Trump.
As if the establishment’s career politician candidates have been a “conservatives” for the past 35+ years. No one capable of critical thought buys that.
I think Rubio is scooping evangelicals away from Cruz in droves. I’m not a fan of Rubio, but his Christian bona fides are pretty solid. My guess as to what is happening here is twofold:
1) People are really turned off by all of Cruz’s lies and desperate mudslinging in general
2) More importantly, Cruz recently launched an attack on Rubio as not pro-life enough. That was an ENORMOUS mistake. Anyone who follows right-to-life issues knows of Rubio, he’s one of the strongest opponents of abortion in Congress. The fact that pro-life people already know of Rubio and his record, and then have Cruz ride in and tell them that Rubio is some kind of baby butcher, has probably crushed his chances with the pro-life crowd.
Cruz assumes that everyone is a gullible commodity that you can purchase with PAC money. He assumes wrong.

The more he postures as a preacher, which he is not, the more narrow will be he support. He will even lose many Christians who find the doctrinal eccentricities associated with him odd and off putting. Specifically the Seven Mountain Mandate stuff, before someone asks a specious “OH, YOU MEAN LIKE A BELIEF IN -GOD- ?!?!?!?”
