RUSH: There's another story here, folks, not sure how this is going to be received at the Rubio camp. "Lawmakers are flocking to support Marco Rubio's White House campaign after former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush dropped out of the GOP race on Saturday. A slew of Republicans in Congress who previously backed Bush are moving to support Rubio as he battles GOP rivals Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Ohio Gov. John Kasich. Rubio's campaign announced ahead of Tuesday's caucus in Nevada that Sen. Dean Heller (Nev.) and Rep. Mark Amodei (Nev.) would be backing his campaign."
And some representatives from Florida that were all Bush backers are now moving over to Rubio. Bob Dole says, "As much as I love John Kasich, you know, Rubio is probably a better candidate. And he's young." I guess it means Kasich isn't, so Bob Dole on ABC -- do we have this? Yeah, grab sound bite number 30. I mentioned this earlier. This is Rubio on The O'Reilly Factor last night. Answer this for yourselves, but I'm not sure that this is what on-the-fence, if there are any, conservative primary voters actually want to hear.

Rush doesn’t support liberalism, big government statism, etc. Hence, he’s had a lot of issues with Trump’s agenda. He would have to completely compromise everything he’s stood for if he sides with Trump’s agenda. It used to be, being wobbly and letting this stuff get through made you GOPe...now if you don’t support it, you are GOPe. It’s beyond absurd.
Bookmark, I want to definitely read this, I’ve listened to Rush since he went national.
In any event, Rubio definitely deserves every bit of scrutiny he gets for the Gang of 8 fiasco. Indeed, without that, he’d probably be doing much better. He has no one but himself to blame.
But at precisely the same time, Trump was pushing the GOP to adopt comprehensive immigration reform and said it was needed to help the party - he blasted Romney for taking too hard a line on illegal immigration and blamed that for his loss. Why does Trump get a pass for this? http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Donald-Trump-Ronald-Kessler/2012/11/26/id/465363/
Indeed. Weep is right. Mark Levin played side by side clips of Reagan and Trump. Trump was whining about a Cruz ad which was truthfully warning westerners that Trump had no commitment to helping the states get their land back from the federal land grabbers, the very thing ranchers are being arrested and shot over in Oregon. But Trump turned it totally around, made it seem like Cruz was the one with a problem, and then started digging in to tear away like the Devil himself at Cruz’s reputation. It was horrifying to listen to.
An all the more horrifying because, just before that, he had played a clip of Reagan speaking during his first inaugural address, in which he told the story of the soldier’s pledge. Please view it here:

And as I thought how far we have fallen off that way, how much we have lost, how we have become so willing to cheer on the inane crassness of the carney barker who now dominates the Republican primaries, I did weep. I mourn for our loss. I did not fully appreciate it at the time. Now I do.
Peace,
SR
And Russia collapsed without a shot being fired. That was a really big freaking deal.
OK! :)
Moderator, please ignore trolls masquerading as teacher's pet.
I actually had not seen this before.
Rubio can beat the witch...don't know about the trumpster..
the threads were posted only four minutes apart. FYI
The democrats controlled the House for all of Reagan’s eight years in office.
The Republicans controlled the Senate for the first six of Reagan’s eight years; the dems re-took the Senate in the 1986 mid-terms so the Senate was controlled by the dems for the last two years of Reagan’s second term.
Is that old wind bag still on the air
Great video. I agree with your post.
Thank you. I had not realized that.
I thought both houses were Democratic during those years.
None the less, the House has the purse strings.
If you want to get things done, you have to work with the House. If it’s in the Democrat’s hands, good luck.
I appreciate the mention.
I’m for Trump, too. But you’re delusional when it comes to Rush.
No problem!
I wish the present-day House would step up and actually act like they control the purse strings. Instead, they give Obama everything he wants.
I’m not worried about the dems re-gaining the House this November. It’s the Senate I worry about.....24 GOP senators are up for re-election, but just 10 democrats are up for re-election. It’s going to be a battle.
I hadn’t hear that yet. Not good.
Those numbers mean the deck is stacked against us.
You’re not going to get a better president than Reagan. You will be sorely disappointed if you expect one.
That was not my point. My main point is that Reagan’s record is not conservative on fiscal issues. And I presented evidence to back it up. Overall he was a great president. And there is no guarantee any of the current candidates will be any better. We can only hope.
You would think the senators up for election would learn something from Trump. But they are so used to carrying the water for their ultra-rich donors, I doubt they will change.
“wobbly” .. where in heck did you get that ..??
Rush has not endorsed anyone .. and he never endorses during a primary.
In the last 2 days, Rubio has been caught in TWO HUGE LIES .. and as people may have noticed .. the media is ignoring .. EXCEPT RUSH.
I heard the show live .. and I can tell you Rush is anything but “wobbly”.
