Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D. a retired colonel with 29 years of experience in the US Army Reserve, argues that Senator Ted Cruz entered the United States illegally as a child in 1974. His parents failed to file a CRBA form which is required by US law. Tedâs parents did not fill out the required form until 1986.

Trump’s wife has nothing to do with this argument.
Try to keep up, will you?
ANALYSIS If Cruz/s parents declared US citizenship for him in Canada, then he has a document called a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA).....the legal equivalent of a US Birth Certificate.
Cruz either has one from the time of his Canadian birth or he does not. If he does not, then he is NOT a US Citizen.... (he was never naturalized by his own admission).
More importantly, Canada, at the time of Cruz/s birth, did not recognize dual nationality.
So it appears Harvard-educated Cruz schemed to dupe Texas voters by the charade of renouncing his Canadian citizenship that never was when the Dallas Morning News exposed him.
Cruz either has the Canadian-issued Consular Report of Birth Abroad, which is his legal proof of US Citizenship, or he doesn't.
Would appear his parents never applied for it. Significantly, Canada prohibited dual nationality at the time of Cruz/s birth.
If Cruz can/t produce a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, there's a little problem with the US Senate office Cruz holds now (and was elected to under false pretenses)
.......not to mention his doomed aspirations to be US President.
===============================================
NOTE WELL The Dems have access to the CRBA thru State archives and you can rest assured they know the truth and have set a trap. That is why he supposedly /sealed/ his US birth documents. They don/t exist so he is putting us thru this fiasco for his personal career advancement......nothing more.
If he really cared about this country, he would have settled this years ago.
He should be exposed if he/s lining his pockets with campaign contributions, knowing he is not qualified...what does that say about his character and integrity?
Yes, if the voters are dumb enough to fall for your scenario.
So trump can appoint him AG and then SCJ.
No, he was able to be a US citizen but Canada didn’t care. He has shown his Canadian BC, so until his renouncing he was technically a Canadian citizen. He has been a USA citizen since he was 16. Neither country gives a damn about his citizenship in the other country.
I think it is nutty not to release it.
I would want to end this talk now.
The CRBA would show a finding of citizenship from his birth. Hoever, that does not mean he is a citizen today! We have to know whether or not he had any 5 year period of continuous preence in the US between the ages of 14 and 28. He is reported to have made a trip to the UK as a teen. On his return, that would start a 5 year clock again. Any time he left the country, including visits to canada, would start that 5 year clock again. If he fails to obtain a 5 year continuous presnce in the Us by the time he is 28, he is not a citizen any more.
Not according to my parents. My brother was born in Venezuela. They said all he had to do was register to vote.
He’s in his 60s now. Always claimed to be an American citizen.
[[I would think a consular report of birth abroad would settle the issue. CRBA is not an application, but an after the fact recording.]]
It should, because you are right, it’s an ‘after the fact recording’ just as a birth certificate is an after the fact recording- but birthers (for lack of a better term) claim that needing to apply for one to travel abroad means it’s an ‘act of statute’ and therefore it is an ‘act of naturalization’ because ‘any act of statute is an act of naturalization’ (or something like that)
mindless drone. You would make a good liberal sheep.
The Canadian Birth Certificate does just that.
Given that, it is quite possible that Ted entered the country illegally as a child...but who cares.
I do wish Cruz would clear this matter up though because it will cost him some votes.

Officials at Citizenship and Immigration Canada said that without a signed privacy waiver
from Cruz, they cannot discuss his case.
“Generally speaking, under the Citizenship Act of 1947, those born in Canada were automatically
citizens at birth unless their parent was a foreign diplomat,” said ministry spokeswoman Julie Lafortune.
For the first time, Cruz released his birth certificate Friday in response to inquiries
from The Dallas Morning News.
Dated a month after his birth on Dec. 22, 1970, it shows that Rafael Edward Cruz was born
to Rafael Bienvenido Cruz, a “geophysical consultant” born in Matanzas, Cuba, and the former
Eleanor Elizabeth Wilson, born in Wilmington, Del.
Her status made the baby a U.S. citizen at birth. For that, U.S. law required at least one parent who was a
U.S. citizen who had lived for at least a decade in the United States.
She registered his birth with the U.S. consulate, Frazier said, and the future senator
received a U.S. passport in 1986 ahead of a high school trip to England.
Rafael Cruz, now a pastor in suburban Dallas, fled Cuba for Texas as a teen in 1957. He
remained a Cuban citizen until he became a naturalized American in 2005.

You didn't even need that. FWIW, a BC would get the job done today, but you'd be hassled by US immigration. I know, I've done it ;-)
This photo will make a glorious picture showing how Hillary’s support of the illegals...
You’re wrong or Trump would quit flapping his gums with threats and act.
I really think he thinks he can do this because obuma did it...and he is an opportunist just like GWB said he was...
So true. The stupid people are to stupid to realize that they are stupid.
