With just over a week until the first 2016 election contest, Donald Trump takes the lead in Iowa -- and maintains his big advantage in New Hampshire.
Thatâs according to the latest round of Fox News state polls on the Republican presidential nomination contest.
Trump bests Ted Cruz in Iowa and now receives 34 percent support among Republican caucus-goers. Cruz is second with 23 percent -- down a touch from 27 percent. Marco Rubio comes in third with 12 percent, down from 15 percent. No others garner double-digit support.

In that poll, 50% of Republicans said they felt betrayed by the party.
Same poll had Cruz up 27 to 23 last time. Big shift.
Wonderful pic, thanks for the laugh.
Tearing down a good conservative doesn't help anyone.
Cruz was never vetted early on. He rode up behind Trump’s wings and Trump never touched him until it was late in the game.
Trump is far from stupid. LOL
Another thing is that Cruz has been marketed as above perfect.
People on our side need to cut that out.
Nobody is perfect and the higher on the pedestal the candidate sits, the farther the fall.
Sarah Palin = +5 for Trump
Glenn Beck = -5 for Cruz
How many Cruz supporters said they may change their mind?
Inconsistencies between his narrative and his past came out too early.

Fortunately, there are no such inconsistencies in Trump’s case.
On this site, close to zero. There were a few that liked both but hadn’t decided on who they would support in the primary.
Yeah. He needs to maker the Beckster his Veep. I hope all Ted’s supporters are clamoring loud enough to make Ted realize he needs this sterling conservative on the ticket with him. That should solidify Ted’s lead in more Fox Polls. Maybe another Gang of Hate round table with more NRO geniuses too.
Good grief, can you stop with this sh*t.
Tearing down a good conservative doesn’t help anyone.

It helps out the non conservatives — including the poseurs & the pied-piper.
There you go using real math instead of new math or core mathless!
Once Cruz got a little lead in Iowa, Trump took him head on and Cruz wilted.
Trump had several points of attack, from Canada to bank money to Ted’s unlikeability. Then Trump pulled out the big cannon - Palin endorsement.
Cruz bumbled through “New York values”, “ I forgot my financial filings and health insurance”, and the unstable Beck endorsement to supposedly counter Palin. It was a weak and wretched answer to Trump.
Better Cruz was vetted and found wanting now than in the general.
C’mon. Nobody tried to sell us Trump as a saint or being unclear about his priorities.
He is an Ivy league lawyer and first term $inator, to add to the creepiness!
Two insane nutcases...they deserve each other!!! Glenn Beck....”The Jim Jones” of the Ted Cruz POTUS campaign!!! GO DONALD J. TRUMP!!!
The only question is when will Cruz withdraw.
None too soon.
Bwaaa!
