I can see 2016 from my house and I don't like what I'm seeing

Dear Mr. Levin,

My name is Lauren Stephens. I’ve been involved in politics for a long time – mostly just as a pissed off American, but I am also the owner of Conservative Campaign Consulting. I do not work for any of the Presidential Campaigns. I am not coordinated with any of them. I have not spoken to any of them. I am not being paid by anyone for this.

First off, I would like to let you know that I have been a huge fan and follower of yours since probably about 2007 or 2008. I have several, but not all, of your books. They are really good stuff. I have even downloaded the majority of your podcasts.

Mr. Levin, for years, I have had nothing but the utmost respect for you. Your word has always been your bond. If you doubt my sincerity, you can ask a former co-worker of yours from the Reagan Administration, Dixie Cassell. You could ask a real patriot, C Steven Tucker, from the Chicago area. You could ask a lot of people. They know me.

For years, you have been a champion of We The People, and maybe today, you still believe that you are. But at this point, I beg to differ. Not because I want to, but because I believe I have a little bit more inside information than you have on certain issues surrounding the Presidential race. And the GOP.

I hope you will keep in mind, my respect and admiration for you, before you respond – IF you respond. Although I am angry, I come to you without malice. I am here simply because I know of no other way to get this message to you.

In a topic that apparently was purged (I can't find it anyway), Mark Levin was attacking Sundance over at Conservative Treehouse, going full Glenn Beck on him; so, after what was apparently too long a delay, here's the cnsrvtvtreehouse/sundance keywords, newest to oldest, duplicates out, Sundance Festival topics out:

Levin’s fiance’s son works for the Cruz campaign. He was real big on Trump till about a month ago. Her son probably was hired around that time.

“That false ad from Cruz that portrays Trump as taking an Atlantic City house from an old lady, when she still owns the house is a perfect example.’

Cruz has a campaign ad out repeating this lie. If someone can be sued for a blatant lie maybe Trump should start threatening legal action.

Obviously Cruz is who I support, but if Trump is the nominee, I will work hard to get him elected. We can’t have Hillary appointing SC justices.

Levin has totally discredited himself . I’m surprised he’s not in the National Review lineup against Trump

Who would have thought Levin would align himself with Establishment elites... It's such a strange political season...

I feel sorry for Thomas Sowell, I still respect him but his letter wasn't that bad.

I still respect Sowell too... he's never part of a group-think... even if he's agreeing with the group... it's coincidence.

Well, of course he’s not saying that now,,, heck, Hillary can come out tomorrow and tell the whole world she’s not for single payer anymore. She could also tell us how she’s going to trim the fat and stop crony capitalism, but pardon me if I doubt her sincerity when she continues to pimp us out for Big Corn,,, there are things Trump ‘says’ that sound very good to me, but there are also about 50 red flags going up.

Trump supported single payer in 2000. That is 16 years ago and long before Obamacare was even an idea accept to Obama.

In Trumps book published in 2011 he said “Obamacare is a DISASTER” and must be repealed.

In that book he also said he thought people being able to buy insurance across sate lines would help because it would be better and that we needed serious tort reform including loser pay.

Can you tell me a plan of any of the other candidates that is more conservative than that?

This is the chapter page of his book (Note the date at the bottom):

EIGHT - REPEAL OBAMACARE

Obamacare Puts Small Businesses on Life Support

Obamacare Passed, Premiums Skyrocketed

Obamacare Is Killing Jobs

Obamacare Will Destroy Patient Choice and Explode Spending

Bring Down Costs through Competition Real Tort Reform Right Now

As recently as last September Trump was still touting “universal health care” in which everybody was covered and the taxpayers paid the bill,,, 60 Minutes, Breitbart.

Trump said that everyone will be taken care of and it will be paid for by the government but he was only referring to people who could not afford insurance.

I can understand the confusion because of the way Pelley interrupted him constantly.

He said he would “make a deal” with existing hospitals” to take care of them and the government would pay.

However, the last statement says that “for the most part”, meaning the majority, people would be able to negotiate plans.

He has said many times that he wants people to be able to buy insurance across state lines to encourage completion and he said in his book that he supports serious tort reform.

60 Minutes transcript:

Donald Trump: Obamacare’s going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what’s going on with premiums where they’re up 45, 50, 55 percent.

Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?

Donald Trump: There’s many different ways, by the way. Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, “No, no, the lower 25 percent that can’t afford private.” But—

Scott Pelley: Universal health care?

Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.

Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of how?

Donald Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably—

Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?

Donald Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it. But we’re going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it’s going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.
